I adore this coffee shop. Not only for the convenience of it being in the same building that I work, but the fact that you are getting one of the best tasting cups of coffee in town! The service is top notch. The barista, Paul, is very knowledgeable and loves to make sure his customers enjoy their visit. On Fridays he gets these delicious pastries from a local baker, and they are phenomenal!Kid-friendliness: The kids love saying Hi and really enjoy seeing Paul.Wheelchair accessibility: The entire building is wheelchair accessible.
The owner was extremely nice and gave great recommendations on what to order. He also provided amazing customer service and got our drinks to us quickly. Highly recommend!!!

Paul is an artist when it comes to coffee. I had the bourbon carmel mocha with dark chocolate and it was hands down the best coffee I have ever had. The only down side to Beakers is that it has ruined all other coffee shops for me. Hands down best coffee in Dubuque!

I love the Cold Brew with 4 shots of espresso. on cold days I get the Macchiato. Paul is a coffee ificianto. Great service. The best Coffee!! 100% recommended!

Beakers coffee is a great place to grab a beverage or a snack. They have great scones, cookies and coffee, bubbl'r drinks and more. Plus you can also get yourself or your kids hot chocolate on a cold day. They also have lemonade in warmer months. I personally like the seasonal peppermint mocha and also the energized lemonade that they have in the warmer months. I also like the danishes. The owner Paul is really nice and great at conversation plus he cares about the drinks that he makes which makes them taste even better!Parking: It is inside the crescent community building so you use the Crescent Community Building Parking lot.Kid-friendliness: There are kid friendly snacks and drinks here like baked goods and kid friendly drinksWheelchair accessibility: There is an elevator you can take to the second floor with spacious area to wheel yourself through and order. The menu is high and large print so it's visible to see.
What an off the beaten path treasure in downtown dubuque! The man is kind, knowledgeable, humorous, and absolutely skilled at what he does. Need a bang on perfect coffee and a snack? Stop here and help some real people succeed doing something delicious.
