Great pizza. Was a less busy option than the West side location on a busy Saturday night. Busy with delivery but seat available to dine. Nothing special about the accommodations but good enough for a quick dinner.

Snowy night, but the service when I picked up the food was great!
Use to enjoy. Had one of the best pizzas in town if you eat in. During Covid we ordered a few times and really appreciated a Hot Pizza Delivery from them. Delivery was always on time! ( not too fast any more, but on time because they tell you 60 mins.) Ref: Delivery on a week night . Ordered 1/2 Chicken Taco. Borderline (old tasting) wilted chopped lettuce, not sure if tomatoes were fresh, thought it tasted like can chicken. It was our first time ordering the chicken, we usually had the Taco Supreme with Beef. ( which was delicious). The other 1/2 was a plus ( somewhat dry). I only ate 2 pieces ( one of each). My mate ate 2 of the Chicken Taco and later had indigestion. Hope the night goes well. The price is not worth it anymore, unless you eat in at the Ice Cream shop and enjoy watching them flip a pizza. If you have an issue you are right there to have them correct it. They are happy to do that. So do not dismiss going to Happy Joe's Pizza & Ice Cream shop at least once. But plan to spend a pretty penny. The Ambiance there is awesome for kids!

Received a birthday email for free little Joe on the 5th. Got off work on the 7th and thought I would redeem. Called to place the order and then explained I did receive an email and a promo code. The gentleman stated no your not getting a pizza I'm tired of giving away free pizzas. Using profanityI have been eating at happy Joes since I was a kid. Many birthday parties and fond memories.Extremely rude service. The way I was treated and spoken to for just ordering a pizza and redeeming a promo code that was sent by them. I asked whom I was speaking with and this gentleman identified himself as the owner which makes it even more disappointing.
I live in Texas but Happy Joe's in Dubuque is the best pizza I ever had. It is literally the only pizza I eat anywhere.

Ordered a large pie with beef and pep. Extra sauce, extra cheese, well done. As this is the way.Got there and they made the pizza, almost perfectly… it was a medium instead of a large. The manager who was working at the time saw what happened when he looked up my name to grab my order. I took the amazing, however slightly smaller pizza than I had ordered, and he credited me back for basically a small pizza which was perfect. No questions asked. I didn’t even have a moment to be upset. He handled it perfectly and sent me on my way.Some people say the price is a little high, I’ve eaten at this chain my whole life. I’ve worked there. Was my first job actually. And I still will recommend this pizza place to anyone.Great customer service.Great product, that holds up over decades.Can’t recommend enough.Thanks Joe.

We ordered a couple times from here, and it is been two times where we ordered a 2L Fanta and the taste of it doesn't taste right. The expiration date is September 04 2023 thats a month old. I called to speak with a manager, and all he said was that they were going to look into it. The fact that this happened to us twice and he didn't OFFERED to replace the soda THAT WE PAID FOR, not just one time, TWO TIMES is just not ok. We didn't paid for something that was expired and taste it awful. So if any other manager besides the one i spoke to read this please make sure things are done right and not expired.
