Pancakes today were 1.5 inches thick! I told the woman that delivered my food to my table that I have never in my 63 years of life seen pancakes like that & that it was unacceptable. She seemed to not understand why I was complaining and said " Well, I will take them back & see what he can do"... She came back with new pancakes ( this took about 15 minutes & there was no one else eating at this place during this time) that were 1inch thick (acceptable, but still way thicker than normal). Not sure why the cook & the waitress couldn't understand that the pancakes looked abnormal. Staff needs to be trained better. Wish that the manager at Dodge Street Hyvee would look at these comments!

the server was nice but the kitchen staff were rude, they are not suppose to close until 8 for the restaurant, my family and I came in at 7:45 and just wanted 2 appetizers but were told everything was shut down and they wouldn’t serve us.

It's gone ownhill since Covid, but I understand the needing to make a change, since it was never very busy. Still the maple bacon wontons are among my favorite appetizers anywhere.

It's good for if you're on the go going grocery shopping, I wouldn't recommend it for a real restaurant experience though, the place really just has glorified fast food.

They have done an AMAZING rehab of this store - I was mind-boggled! It's gorgeous, bright and opulent inside. I got back to my hotel late at night and all the restaurants were closed. HY Vee has a huge selection of pre-made, delicious food choices. Grab a fork, I forgot!

This was my 3rd time eating here in 2 mos...like the previous 2 experiences, I had a substantial wait time to be greeted, seated and given my drink . The food was ok but,it still took a long time to get it. Way overpriced for the minimal amount of food. I ordered the Ribeye and eggs...eggs were good but, the Ribeye looked like flank steak. Not worth going back.

We waited for 45 minutes to have our order to be taken, we waited another hour to get our food the bacon was weird tasting and was cold the pancakes were burnt, cold and tasted bad. I give it a one star because of the chocolate milk witch was half decent. There were little to no waters. The omlet was cold to and the hash browns were terrible. I will not be going here for a long time. The only good thing about this place is how clean the design is .

I got catering from Shelia and their bakery for my wedding this month, and could not have been happier with Hy-Vee. The whole process was pretty streamlined and we were able to safely taste-test our wedding menu with Shelia months in advance. Pricing was phenomenal for what we got vs comparable stores, and we were also able to customize our desserts a bit. Their service at the event was great, and they easily worked around our backyard venue and all the other vendors that were around. Thank you!
