I hesitate to list the multiple issues our family had the evening of 12-28-23. We were hoping to share a great dining experience with family that had not eaten here. It seemed that management didn't plan well for staffing given the events happening in Dubuque. There were incorrect charges on the bill, multiple requests for ordered beverages, lukewarm fries and food not prepared as ordered. We probably won't give you another chance to disappoint us.

Thank you for the wonderful supper last night! Our server, Caroline was attentive and very nice! She answered our questions, kept our drinks full. Jason, the manager was awesome! Super friendly, hard working. The restaurant was clean, busy but we felt very private in our booth. There is a firepit outside that we could see from our table! The food was wonderful! It was hot and arrived pretty quickly. The mozzarella cheese sticks are amazing! We had the Monte Cristo and Classic Burger. Both were delicious and generous servings. Lots of fries that were so good and hot. Prices were very good considering how much food we had and the quality! There is parking behind the hotel in a 2 level ramp so we were thankful since the amazing Dubuque Symphony Orchestra had a performance and there were a lot people heading to Five Flags.

The burger I had with Bleu Cheese was the best I've ever had! The service is absolutely the best. Food was made to perfection and served in a very timely manner. Definitely recommend!!

Located inside the Holiday Inn, we were greeted quickly. Our server was efficient and friendly. The Bennigan’s menu was spot on. The Montecristo sandwich was perfect. The beer tap menu features Iowa brews that were pretty good.

Joe and Kelly provide the best service. My wife and I go to the holiday inn just to see them. As we are locals every time we go out we go to see them!!
Food is adequate (burgers) to delicious (sauced ribs). Service is very good. Ambiance isn't bad for being a hotel restaurant. Blue Moon Margarita is very good (does not have beer in it).

If I could give the service a below zero star I would. The server didn't say hello she was standing at the entrance to the restaurant we asked are they were open she said, "Yes go in". She was complaining to us how she has to explain to people that they are not a Bennigans, but they advertise that they are. Then asked what we wanted for drinks and told us the previous staff probably didn't stock the supplies needed for the August drink special. We asked what drink options there were and she told us this is the special so this is it. We said, "Two of us will have one of those and the third person will have a water." She had to make two drinks mind you we were the only three customers in the restaurant/bar at 1pm on a Saturday. She then walked behind the bar to make are drinks and was complaining how she couldn't find anything. She then stepped into the hallway and we could hear her complaining to a fellow hotel employee how no one could stock the bar for her as she walked back in another customer walked in, she then proceeded to yell across the bar "Just sit down, I can't serve you right now I have to make these drinks for those girls". At that point she hadnt poured a thing and we knew this was time to walk away from this horrible experience. I walked over to the bar and said, "We will no longer need to take your time away from this kind customer to make our drinks and we no longer need your service", as we then walked out.

Kelly and joe are AMAZING!!!!!. I travel for work and they made me feel like I never left home. If I was in charge of being able to give raises I would definitely give them and the staff that work along side them raises.Parking: Easy to find parking.
