Oh my. This is some of the best fried catfish I’ve had. I also had the greens and dirty rice and my wife got the mac and cheese. All of it was incredible. But the corn bread can’t be beat. Having grown up in the south, all this food was just like what my grandma made. The service was above exceptional. So much food that we’ll eat it again at least two more meals. Support these local businesses every chance you can because this is real family food.

I have spent a lot of money on food all over the world. Tonight joy cost me $70 because I asked Sheldon to let me try everything! I can only say WOW! My wife and daughters were over the moon on each item. The waffles were the best we have ever had, the j*** chicken reminded me of waking up in Jamaica after a long nite of drinking. The catfish was gone before I knew we were close to the bottoms of the plate. The sides of Mac and cheese, red beans and rice and collard greens were amazing. The candied yams tasted like a first course of dessert. We also had a strawberry cake which was a phenomenal second course of dessert. I am already planning parties around the amazing food and I also found out they have j*** fettuccini Alfredo coming soon. You must try!!

My dad just ordered from her. She delivered it herself. I thought I was only getting Mac and cheese and catfish. I got fries, catfish, Mac and cheese, and greens. I love the breading for the catfish, it's a little spicy with lots of meat. The fillets were big and I got two. Oh and there's cornbread. It's so good, I definitely recommend.

Shuggas is the best restaurant in town hands down. My family and I ordered takeout and the gentleman was very patient with us. Read back out order to make sure it was correct. I love that it's a small, family owned, local Christian owned business. We all had the Italian beef. This is the best in the state. The seasoning that they use on their fresh fries is sweet and salty. We will definitely be coming back again. Thank you Shuggas.

Very inviting and friendly staff. The food is top notch, you won't find a better turkey sandwich anywhere else, the mac n cheese is infuego and it's home to the world's most delicious yams bar none. Stop in and try it, you won't be disappointed.

Catfish and fries were very good! Good amount of crisp and I liked that the fries were sweet and salty. Catfish was coated nicely and did not have too much of a fishy taste. Italian beef was loaded and had a nice spicy kick to it. I loved everything, but I just wish that the fish came with some tartar sauce or hot sauce, because then it was dry. Otherwise, it was still really good.
