The hours are WRONG and seem to be reversed with the other Taco John's. This one is opened LATER than the one on the highway. Don't trust Maps. When using Maps add an hour to this one (10 pm) and subtract an hour elsewhere (9 pm). Anyway, very good food and friendly and helpful staff. The only negative is they charge .50 for hot sauce, which used to be free.

Always disappointed! Gave it multiple chances over several years and NOTHING changes! Rude staff, food isnt even good, completely filthy inside. Called and complained and was called a liar. Prices are outrageous anymore used to be $12 for a 6pack and a lb 2-3 years ago bow its over $20. If you want to eat at Taco Johns atleast go to Key west, its better there but still the same General Manager bit atleast the manager that runs keywest is trying

Employees have horrible communication and listening skills at the 20th st location in Dubuque . On 10/17/23 I ordered a 4 cheese chicken quesadilla ($4.79) and 3 churro's (2.29) at the window to tell me my bill is $32 and some sense for a plain cheese quesadilla.. ... What?? I proceeded to tell the employee that I wanted one, for cheese quesadilla not four. I might as well have been talking to a wall. After a few more attempts and explaining, I just gave up, paid for the order. figured give the other three quesadillas to my kids. On top of that I get no receipt, and the building was locked to customers so I couldn't even go in to talk to anybody. By far the worst restaurant experience I have ever had.! I would give negative stars if that was an option

There was a lock on the woman’s restroom, and I had to use the mens. Lady behind the register yelled at me for using the men’s restroom even though there was no real reason to, since nobody else was in the restaurant. Very rude staff, wont be coming back. 9/4/23
