Fantastic breakfast. I had the amazing biscuits and gravy and the breakfast burrito wonderful. The dark roast coffee was excellent. The service was also outstanding. I will be back soon and often. This is a must go to place.

Went to try the beignets, but they were out. Got a burger and a sandwich and both were of the same level as a bland midddle school lunch. The chips we were served were also expired. Not worth the ~$14 each. Overall not impressed and will not be going back.

The only complaint I have is of the Sunday Brunch. We discovered this place on a Saturday morning on our way to Iowa City. The food was phenomenal. Sunday was definitely different. The food seemed like it was pre- packaged. Not the same homemade quality AND no bacon. How can you have a brunch without Bacon. I will still recommend this place because the food was so delicious but I do not recommend the brunch.

Beans & Beignets is Iowa’s best kept secret!Just few miles away from I-80 in little town of Earlham (please stop at the stop signs).I almost started to cry eating their wonderful food♥️Calm atmosphere, the way of serving, and quality of food set me for another day of traveling.

Great Cafe. We were traveling down I80, and saw the sign for Beans & Beignets. Only a couple miles off the interstate. The beignets were great. I've had beignets in France, and I've had beignets at Cafe du Monde in New Orleans. The beignets at Beans & Beignets are easily as good as any I've had.We'll be sure to stop in on our raod trips across Iowa.

My brother and I were visiting Elkhorn, Iowa from Massachusetts for the Danish museum and windmill. On our way back to Des Moines we stopped at this wonderful little coffee shop for Something to eat before our flight. The food was excellent. The service was fantastic. Everyone was very sweet and warm. I left my scarf there and didn’t realize it until I was getting on the plane from MASS. I called and someone had found it and the manager made arrangements with me to mail it. When I asked to let me reimburse her she said no problem they’ll just ship it priority mail, and it won’t cost much. What a wonderful experience, and how giving and generous!Vegetarian options: I’m not vegetarian so I didn’t notice— however, they are very accommodating so I imagine they will cater to needs.Kid-friendliness: Kids were welcome!

Got off the interstate looking for good coffee and we were not disappointed. What a find in this small town! Great breakfast burritos too. We will stop by again anytime we are in the area.
