Exemplary service from impeccable bartenders, top-notch chicken wings, flavorful pizza. Building was the old Standard Service Station and the last of the historic buildings on Main St. nicely updated with good looking wood work inside. Never have to wait if I need something to eat or drink.

The Hen House is a great place to spend time with friends and family. I also consistently go to the Hen House to watch Iowa and Iowa State sports. The wings are delicious too!

It only took about 20 minutes to get a single drink. Had intended on spending some time there playing pool and enjoying beverages, but the bartender couldn't be bothered. Thank goodness Kippy's Place is so close.
A very comfortable atmosphere. Good service, friendly. I will rate it higher when the menu choices are greater. The pulled pork sandwich was tender and moist. A selection of sauces offered.
