Als Dairy freeze was had a nice outdoor patio, and even some indoor seating, I've been 3 times and definitely plan on going again!they have great ice cream and even better mixes! I highly recommend the grasshopper deluxe!
What brought me to this shop was that I heard that they have the same soft serve recipe as Grahams Dairy in Ottumwa which has been in business for over 100 years and is "must go" if you're passing through the City of Bridges. I ordered a medium vanilla cone with krunch. The ice cream was identical to Grahams and so was the krunch. The only down side was that it wasn't coated (drenched) in crunch like grahams does and that's why I'm giving it 4 stars. I realize this is a completely...read full review

I live close to Al’s and tried it this summer with my parents and it is amazing, I am just now posting this review in the winter because I was craving Al’s and checked and saw they were closed for the season lol. Will be back when it warms up!
