Food was good, but portion sizes varied a lot. Some meals were less than adequate (lookin' at you, quesedilla).Our server needed a translation app to communicate in English, but he tried hard. Perhaps a little too hard, over the line of pestering us.The train theme is fun, but when the actual train goes by, it's disturbing for a while.
Just had a very enjoyable time at El Cascabel. Christopher took care of us and couldn't have been nicer. The menu is pretty extensive with a number of seafood dishes in addition to the classics. The birra mexicana and the chili relleno stood out. I could use a bit more spice/heat and will ask for some additional hot sauce next time. Already planning our next visit. Bonus was a train going by as we were leaving.

I came here during the opening and the food tasted very bland and the service was not great. We decided to come back a few months after opening and it was amazing! Great service, they must have been working on their recipes, because they are much improved and a great building!
