Well ordered 2 tenderloins and all American. And a kids meal chicken strips. The tenderloins were both soggy and the taste was a bit off. Walked in and just immediately got stared at by every employee in the place without so much as a greeting. Then had to ask for a menu as the casher/waiter was to busy staring at us. Ordered to go. Not to mention they had already stacked chairs on the tables so we ordered to go. Definitely will never stop in again.

Good food. Good service. Fun diner on a Saturday for lunch. We stopped there on our way through Grinnell. Guys had the loose meat sandwiches & said though tasty, not as good as Maid Rites. My tenderloin was good. Friend had small order of nachos & said they were fine. The loose meat is just like the sandwich meat. You add your own salsa. Fries were hot & crispy & onion rings were good as well. Good place for a quick lunch--reasonable prices.

Excellent small family owned diner. Spent weeks looking for a quality tenderloin before I finally ate here and found The Best Tenderloin in all of grinnell. Also don't miss out the proud lose meat sandwiches they've been serving for decades. Don't listen to the reviews from the Karen's and punks to broke to afford covid inflation. Service is speedy with friendly workers who want nothing but to make sure you leave completely satisfied.Vegetarian options: They offer an excellent salad that's fully customisable and offers multiple dressing.Kid-friendliness: Crayon's at the ready with fun coloring books available while the kids wait for their kids chicken baskets or hotdogs.

Great tenderloin sticking way out from the bun. Old school milkshakes in the metal containers. Chili a little too tomatoee. Tiny diner with vinyl booths. Love this place.

Food was decent for this place. We were in town for soccer and searched Google for places to eat. Food was decent. Only thing I didn't care for was the price of the tenderloin. It was 10.99 for the sandwich only. Most places give you fries but I was okay since he said it was big. Sandwich did not look like the picture. It was thicker one but not worth the price. I have eaten a tloin at every place that selected one. Just doesn't make the cut.

This was probably one of the worst tenderloins I've ever had. It fit in a little brown paper bag. So it's not enormous like they say. It was not a fresh made tenderloin. I asked Ask for extra onions. I got 3 little slivers a little bitty piece of mushy tomato 1 very thin strip of lettuce. One little swipe of mayonnaise. A squirt of ketchup and a Squirt of mustard and I paid almost $11 for this where im from we pay 8.00 for a fresh made tenderloin that fills your plate. Never again!!!
