We ate here for mother's day brunch and it was our first time. They got us seated quickly, our waiter was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. It was the best shrimp and grits I have had outside of New Orleans. Absolutely stellar!

27 Apr 2024 Good food. Service was quite accommodating, but a little slow because they were so busy, and perhaps short staffed.. Recommended, good menu, and good people.

The food was just okay - especially for the price. With tip, our order was $114. We were the first table in the door when they opened, but it took quite awhile to even get our drink order. The bartender came to our table to get our drink order, but when it was finally delivered only 1 of the drinks came, and the waiter had to ask what the other drink was. We have eaten at the Prairie Canary several times over the years, and have enjoyed it - but this time the food and service was off. We will have to decide if the price is worth going back.

Such incredible food! It was beautifully presented and tasted amazing! We both had burgers that were cooked to perfection... that little bit of char on the edges! I loved the one with onion jam.And the strawberry side salad was also amazing... so many fabulous flavors!

We were there for Easter Bunch and they could not remember what my plate was called so walked around with it to each table. When they figured it out it was cold so they put in the microwave and now my poached eggs were hard as a rock and they don’t even try to make it right. It was sent back. I would not recommend for enjoyable dining or food.

Had great tomato/feta soup. Could have been a little warmer. The fried Brussels were amazing. Gluten free pasta with Vodka sauce was much enjoyed as was the rigatoni primavera. Apple salad was great. Final member of our group enjoyed bacon wrapped sirloin. Our server was great! We really enjoyed our experience.

We love this restaurant for a date night or special evening. The chef specials are always excellent & the waygu beef is over the top excellent. Service is always prompt and attentive. Leave room for dessert, because they have great creme brulee and several other fine choices. The bar will not dissapoint either. We gladly drive 45 min to get here to enjoy an evening at the Prairie Canary.

Gotta love the Fancy eatery at Prarie Canary. They have a good blend of Delicouse basics and something for the adventurous types!
