The renovation improved the look of the interior a lot better, also they serve food now and its pretty yummy.

My boyfriend and I were in Independence, Iowa for about 2 weeks for his job and we stayed at the Hotel that was in walking distance to this little bar so we went and checked it out! We absolutely loved it! We went in and immediately we were greeted with friendly smiles and great conversation! By the time we left we felt like part of the family! This is our favorite bar here in Independence! If your in the area, for sure check them out!
