One night I went they charge for cover when they were ending in half an hour which in my opinion is rediculous. The bar itself is good and the atmosphere is decent with it's neon lighting. Making it a good mood for the night but the music was a miss a lot of the time but a hit once and awhile.

The bouncers were complete assholes It was around 145am we were heading out when I noticed our friend was still inside Our Uber showed up so I tried to get my friend but the bouncers literally pushed me out I told them please I just need to get our friend and they said no and shut the door The Spanish bouncer was literally holding the door shut to not let us in One guy had to get his hoodie and the other left his 7$ drink inside There needs to be better service

The house made Rum Chata-esque drink is incredible. So good that I drink a lot of it and cannot remember the name. Also, if it’s the same owner I remember dude is OBSESSED with Connect Four and if you can beat him drinks are free. Spoiler alert: he hardly has to provide free drinks.

At first it was kind of like ehh but then actually looking at the drinks and and sitting down and taking in the place it's a chill place but kind of lit at the same time. There is a pool table and a very nice dart board. The big screens and tv's in the place make it easy to watch the game or whatevers on in a more chill environment.

Went for a karaoke night but it was of course difficult to hear my friends. The bartenders were nice and very patient. Wish the karaoke was more organized somehow. Seemed all over the place at times. I've only been there once though.

The bar design is extremely unique for Iowa City. I loved that the drink menu not only focused on the old school drink pallet they also bring some Maimi flavor to the menu as well. That said, you can't complain about a bar in Iowa City where the owner will play a game of Janga or shoot some pool with his customers!
