this place is terrible. My Banana split was melted and doesn't even look like ice cream. it looks like soup. we had a blizzard that tasted awful and wasn't made right either. wouldn't come here again.

Ordered 4 blizzard and took 20+ minutes to make. One was Chocolate Heath and it came with a M&Ms, Brownie bits,and tasted like mint. Recommend making the drive to North Liberty.

The entrance to the front door of this establishment was a sheet of ice. It appeared no attempt was made to remove it. Customer service is a real problem here, with the exception of Chris who assisted me in purchasing a cake that I had ordered from the manager 4 days prior, but for some reason was not ready. Will not return.

Every worker acted like they were forced there against there own will. The food took forever and was so overpriced. I used to work at Dairy Queen and I’m pretty sure they made our blizzard wrong.

Pretty poor experience overall. We waited for 15 minutes before someone took our order inside. The employee didn’t know how to ring something in, then proceeded to make fun of the coworker that helped him figure it out in a very rude way in front of us. The sundaes had pretty much no topping and was only on the bottom. I’d definitely try a different location if you want DQ, or try the Culver’s close by! :)
I usually never go to any Dairy Queen for anything but I've cream but the city paper had coupons that I thought would be nice to use. My boyfriend had one of his own as well. The guy who served us didn't seem all that welcoming but I brushed it off. I've worked in customer service and it can be tiring. My boyfriend handed him his coupon and he went to the back to see if it was valid. He came back but I never heard him say a word. He kept the coupon and rang everything up. I ordered next (separate orders) and he sounded a bit annoyed when he saw I had a coupon. He asked if I wanted the same thing. I said "oh, no. I want to get the 4 piece chicken strip basket" and showed him the coupon, attempting to hand it over so he can take a look. He didn't take it. He put in my order and told me my total. He mumbled something about giving him something??? So I assumed he meant the coupon. He said "no. The card". I gave him my card confused. He kept my boyfriends coupon so why didn't he even look at mine? I go to my boyfriend after and look at the receipt. The guy never took it off that either. The guy who served us was a bit rude and I was very disappointed with my food. I don't know how anyone ever eats there for anything other than ice cream. I wish I went to McDonalds instead.Edit: the coupon doesn't expire for another entire month and it says it can be used at Iowa City or Coralville DQs
