the best pizza in iowa city. I cannot recommend Gumby's enough. The employees are super nice and always make sure th customer is happy! If you visit iowa city without stopping by gumby's you're missing out!

You may experience a longer wait time for deliveries, but that's because everyone is ordering from here late at night. The drivers are making runs for customers non-stop. Make sure to get your order in earlier for the best delivery experience. Those that have tried Gumby's always recommend it to family and friends.

Gumby's Pizza is a chain (over a dozen, mostly college town locations throughout the country) that I think does a good job more times than not. Open daily (and late, after bar close) Gumby's has something for everyone; pizza, calzones, pasta, wings, salad, subs, strombolis, appetizers and more! Since my college days-- my go-to has been the pokey stix. Like literally, order some right now and tell me they're not freaking amaze. Pricing is very reasonable and I adore that they offer it in a 20'' size!! Perfect for late night munchies with friends. My last order I got the stix AND the Stoner Pie-- pepperoni, bacon, mozzarella sticks and French fries!? Yes, please. It came piping hot, on time and was inhaled by all. Adult and kiddo alike were pleasantly surprised. I've never ordered anything besides the pizza or pokey stix so I can't speak in the other items on the menu. (Side note: on the boxes it tells you not to microwave leftovers and includes reheating instructions-- super rad! Go Gumby's educating the masses.) Know this is a pizza chain in a college town-- you'll have hit or miss service-- but overall, Gumby's is worth ordering from if you want some no frills 'za! It definitely beats the Pizza Huts, Dominos or Papa Johns of the world.
