Food is mostly typical fried bar food with great daily specials and awesome soups and chili. Cookies are the best in town and the staff is incomparable.Parking: Usually lots of parking unless you go on a Thursday or Friday from 11:30-noon when the oldsters are lunching. Wait until 12:30 or park on the street nearby during busy hours.Kid-friendliness: Not necessarily a "kid place" but kids love it! Fries and tots draw them in and the old-timey atmosphere seems to resonate.

Nice little bar, very friendly staff. It reminds me of a little hometown bar. Not a big city bar which is great. Food was awesome and everything was decent price.Parking: Has a parking lot behind the building with a door to get in the bar.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp for access and level floors/no steps inside

Normally, I'm not a bar food person; but this place is an exception to the rule; rotating home made specials during the week, great sandwiches, wide selection of drinks, nice employees, and an interesting looking historical looking building, especially on the inside. If you like going where the locals go... Need I say more???

Excellent food as always! If you are thinking standard bar food, think again! The leafy green lettuce in their robust salads are amazing and my favorite is taco salad. Or chicken salad. Or taco salad.. can’t decide. We did eat something fried today.. chicken livers. YUM!
Tables seats a total of 30, bar seats 7. Located near Hy-Vee + gas + Super charger (Tesla). Waitstaff super nice! 1/3 capacity Monday @ 1pm.It could use a spruce up but is a classic 'dive bar' (in a positive way). Restroom doors are difficult to close/lock.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp available but a bit narrow.
