Pretty good indian food, have tried take out a bunch of times and is never disappointed. Tried the lunch buffet and it was very good, lots of vegan and gluten-free options which are clearly labeled. Not much of a selection but it is normal for lunch buffets. Restaurant was very clean and quiet. The man working was very kind and attentive to our needs and brought out refills as they were getting low.

I called before coming to check price and when checking out was told a different price. when I asked why he said that has always been that price. When I left I called to ask the price again to double check I was told the same price as when I first called. so we were clearly over charged on purpose. really sad, I will not be returning. Also he didn’t believe my daughter’s age and charged her as an adult just because she is tall doesn’t mean she is not a child.

Orders take way too long. There were three tables here and it took over half an hour to get our stuff. The manager never knows what the kitchen is doing and says it'll be a few minutes for half an hour wait.

The owner is very friendly and food is very tasty. I come here everyday. The fresh tandoori roti and delicious garlic naan is a must. All the vegetarian dishes are excellent. The buffet is also very balanced. You should definitely come here if you're in Iowa city. The chai feels great on a cold day

We're so happy there's an Indian buffet here! Delicious food and very friendly people running it! It's our go to spot!
After sitting for 5min while waiter prepped 2 tables with only 1 other customer in the whole place, I had to ask if the buffet was the only option today. He asked if we were dinning in as if we had nothing else to do that day but to hang out in a booth. He then realized that some of us like to look at menus and provided a couple for us to check out. The food had somebody's hair in it and chicken was dry. At check out, the register read $25.72; when asking about our change after paying cash, he said he entered it wrong and it came out to be $26 even with tax...yeah right. I'm sure 28 cents or so off of each customer adds up day by day, it's clear what the priorities are with this place, lesson learned ?

LOVE THIS BUFFET!!! I have been going here for 7+ years! Everything here is just getting better and better!!! they have great tandoori chicken and chicken tikka masala!! The employees here are AMAZING and SO kind!! 100% recommend!! Best Indian buffet ever!
It is ok, but I won't praise it. Pakoras were supposed to be fried to crispy but all soft as they were put in steamy buffet trays. Naans were serviceable but also did not look exciting. Standard dishes like curry and tikka masala were alright as well. Lamb was the only dish I enjoyed.Place was clean, and owner was pretty chill.

I was visiting some cities in Iowa and I stopped for lunch. They have daily buffet with halal food, 12.99. The buffet was good considering small town restaurant. They had some veg, chicken and beef items. The owner was very friendly. It was not very crowded. There is no free parking nearby as it is a college town and the restaurant is at the center of downtown. Overall recommended considering a small college town restaurant but there are some scops of improvement regarding food quality.
