This is an amazing place, I ate Veggie Tortas and tried their deserts - flan and tres leches cake, which were delicious.

Service was good and food was okay but did not appreciate the surprise gratuity charge, it was not made obvious before the bill came.Especially on a simply 'okay' burrito with mostly rice in it.Space was loud.

Ate here when it first opened and liked it back then. It's been a few years and all I can say is ?what happened? The mystery dish was the same one I always ordered, chile verde, and what I received was not edible. In fact when I threw it down the drain even the disposal rejected it. Seriously, it was unable to grind up all the fat and bones in the meat. I probably should also mention that the server placed the to go box sideways in the bag so when she handed it to me by the handles all the verde sauce leaked out of the dish into the bottom of the bag. Maybe try using a bowl with a lid for liquid dishes? It's pretty frustrating that you have to go to a different city to find good Mexican food but that's what I recommend. Iowa city is fresh out.

I have literally never had a bad experience here. The food is always delicious and you can tell they love what they make. I usually take food to go, but when I dine in the servers are always extremely nice and easy to talk to! It has a very homey and comfortable atmosphere and it's a nice place to have dinner with friends and family.

It's just a chaotic experience. Paying for one item and getting another less expensive is a bummer.

Chips and salsa are not served like most authentic Mexican restaurants, there are for sale. The salsa flavor was great. We ordered a stake burrito and a torta, the burrito was great! Now, the torta was 80% bread and 10% stake. To the point that we removed the meat and vegetables, and left behind a lot of the bread. If bread was wanted we could have purchased a sweet bread front the front counter. We recommend owners revisit their proportions on tortas and customers reconsider ordering if you are looking to have protein filled fulfilling meal.

Does not good to have a box for special orders if you don't follow them. Have had those other sauces you send in the small containers.only one I like is the red sauce. Specifically asked for all red sauce and utensils and I only get the four different sauces. Now I have to use some taco bell sauce which isn't right. Waste of

Cheese fries terrible. Kids menu overpriced. Order messed up. Chile Verde was more bones than meat. Service was mediocre if I'm being kind. Tacos weren't great. Tortillas seemed like they were microwaved.

This place is incredible. Authentic Mexican food that blew my socks off. The service was fantastic. I had carnitas and we also got the Birria and a bunch of tacos. Everyone loved the food. I can’t wait to go again!
