They need to hire more severs. I ordered the mixed greens salad with chicken ($16), margarita ($10),Moscow mule ($8), and creme brûlée ($8). The honey-balsamic vinaigrette was fantastic for the salad. The chicken was small and tasted weird. The marg and creme brûlée was great. The mule tasted like cologne. My friend had the pork vindaloo ($21) and that was delicious. She had the marg ($10), Dark N'Stormy ($9) and Poppy seed cake ($8), which all were good. I would recommend this place.

Oh my gosh we are here for my 25th birthday and the food was *chef kiss* delicious!! From our entrees to my birthday dessert was phenomenal and I can’t wait to eat here again!! Everything was very well seasoned and so fresh!

Up a long flight of stairs to a cozy restaurant. Variety of meals from hamburgers to a full three-course dinner, with reasonable prices. Pleasantly quiet. Somewhat confused service personnel, but overall pleasant.

Great vibe. Great service. Best burger in Iowa city.

If you love good food you must visit Moonrakers. Pulled pork Cuban is out of this world, maybe the Moon. I love my soup very hot, and without asking, that is how it came out.

One of the worst dining experiences I've had in Iowa City. The evening started with confusion over our reservation, leading us to separate dining rooms in different buildings until we ended up back where we started. We sat at our table for 20 minutes without menus or a server. When we stopped someone to ask about our server, a very flustered gentleman replied he'd get to us when he could because he had to deliver bread baskets to a table, apparently a very daunting task. Once the menus were finally given to us, we were very disappointed to learn that we could only order off of the 126 menu--our reservations were made for Flight. We had two children with our party and I would not have selected this restaurant for them. We ordered and the food came at an odd pace...nothing served at the same time. For this price point, I fully expected more. The food was mediocre, accompanying sauces served in plastic cups like you'd get in a bar and our server commented about how busy he was every time he came to the table. It was graduation weekend, of course it's busy. We left very unsatisfied after paying a $300 bill for 3 adults and 2 kids.

We went for a catered event in their hygge upstairs. The pork bahn mi was my favorite. They also have a nice wine selection.

Have only been there once; food tasted amazing!

My son loves the burgers here. And I love the cocktails...so we never have a complaint. The quality is great and I like the big screens for games too. A great place for us as a family or after work.

I visited One Twenty Six for lunch with a colleague last week. We had reservations and were promptly seated. They sat us in a booth, the table of which was actually two smaller tables pushed together. I wasn't a fan of that setup, which was inconsistent with the restaurant's overall style. We split an appetizer of Vegetable Samosas and these were a solid beginning to this food excursion. For my meal I ordered the Cuban Pork Sandwich. Served open-faced, the presentation was different that I'd expected. Either way, it was flawless in taste. This was my second time at One Twenty Six and based on this experience, I imagine there will be a third.

I was there with a friend, the food was really good. I ordered a roast beet salad and the steak frites. It tasted amazing. The steak came with tones of fries and they were so good. The service was excellent. The guy helping us "David" was very helpful and work with my friend on her order since she has allergy it. The ambience was great I loved it. The two reasons I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is one: the place was cool, as in cold and I was cold the entire time I was their. Two: I wish the portions were a bit bigger compared to the prices. It is too pricy. That said I might visit again one day but It won't be exactly my first choice.

I think this is an under-appreciated restaurant in downtown Iowa City! They have delicious dishes, and do very well accommodating large groups. Their space is very unique, with the exposed brick walls, and can make a great place for a date night. The hanger steak is tender, well seasoned and juicy! Also would recommend the chicken linguine (available at moonrakers), which is made with a herb tomato broth and rich Kalona cream! I also enjoy their house made vegetable samosa starters, which come with a mint chutney. Try the chocolate torte for dessert!
