First time visiting Iowa. Wilson's is a lovely place to have lunch and sit and chat with friends. The service was great and the food was excellent. I highly recommend the biscuits and gravy; super flavorful with a little bit of spice. The potatoes were nice and crunchy on the outside, soft and moist on the inside. Can't wait to go back!

We hosted a corporate event for 3 days at the Ciderhouse. The staff were all very helpful, attentive and professional for all of our requests. And those apple cider donuts in the morning for our clients.... WOW. And the food they prepared for our eat-in lunches was a big hit with all of our attendees. We hope to host another event this summer as well at the Ciderhouse. It's a perfect location that's just outside of Iowa City to feel 100% Iowa.

Beautiful spot with friendly staff…but the food wasn’t worth the price. The focaccia was oily, the sandwich bread was dry, the ‘house aioli’ tasted like tartar sauce …three of us had subpar meals. Maybe an off night, I think usually quite good ?♀️Vegetarian options: Good job particularly offering vegetarian versions of dishes.

We were there as a group of friends, one of which brought her toddler. First, it took awhile for them to find a high chair. We all ordered hamburgers, which come with nothing — not even chips. An order of fries for $9.00, which is rather excessive. But the worst part was they brought the food for the adults, but not the child. Evidently, chicken tenders from the children’s menu take “extra” time. By the time the little girl’s food arrived, we were done, so her mother just packed up her food to take home. Absolutely clueless service.

Great venue for a wedding. Service was excellent for both bar and food. Food was really good. Steak was prepared perfectly which is very difficult for a large crowd and the salmon was uniquely accompanied by a unique white bean side.
