Pretty great Happy Hour in the bar and grill inside of Hy-Vee grocery. M-F, 3 to 6. $5 apps, $3 drafts, $4 wines, $2 off mixed drinks.

Could have gotten better burger at Wendy's for same amount $$. Fries were suppose to be crispy but were also cool . Will never go there again. Totally disappointed in them !!!!

Restaurant was clean as a whistle! The manager and staff greeted us right away. They gave us some suggestions of what was hot on the menu. Food came within 10 minutes and was delicious! We enjoyed the staff! They made our experience nice and pleasant. Great place for me and my belly! Thank you

This was our first....and safe to say last.....time in a Wahlbergers! #1 They're WAAAAAAY overpriced for what you get. 2. My husband got the grilled chicken street corn salad. $13.50. When they brought it out, it was only chicken, lettuce, crunchy tortilla bits & the dressing...... No corn, no beans, no cheese. The cashier gave us a slice of pizza as compensation but that should have never left the kitchen. 3. I substituted the macaroni salad for fries with my burger $12 (before the upcharge to substitute). The salad was DRY (as in no mayo) al dente macaroni, bell peppers & onions. It had also been allowed to dry out. It was pretty bad. For $32 (after adding drinks) we could have gotten a MUCH MUCH better meal on the interstate. I think the Wahlberger's are only going to be able to draw people in one time on their fame. They'll be lucky to get repeat business based on our experience. If it doesn't improve, in my opinion, they're not going to last very long. I'd just as soon go to Hardee's.

Give me a break. We were charged $15 for a small amount of bland fries. And the burger was a JOKE. The patty was 1/8lbs at most. Look at the pic. Worst value of any burger place around here. You can get a better cheeseburger at McDonald’s for one dollar. That has more meat. So when you’re at Hy-Vee stick to the Chinese food and stay the hell away from Wahlburgers. Total rip-off.

Went to breakfast with friends. Service was terrible. We waited at least 30 minutes after ordering to receive our food and the restaurant was almost empty. Ordered hot tea. No tea bags. The tea was in the container labeled COLD brewed tea. The one server acted like I was crazy for questioning that. I ordered an omelet. It was clearly a pre-made processed omelet with a few sautéed veggies. It was dry and hard. The toast never arrived. My friends ordered oatmeal. It looked like raw oats with no liquid. There was some, but they had to stir vigorously, which then cooled it down. One friend ordered pancakes, they at least were decent.

For reference this Wahlburger is inside a Hy-Vee and used to be a Market Grille. Their burger, which I assumed would be their signature item, had no flavor and was cold. Their wings aren't the jumbo wings that Hy-Vee had and I always craved. They changed the incredible Hy-Vee bacon wontons to something bland and forgetful. 6 people sat at the bar for 15 minutes waiting for a bartender just to have someone show up that can't serve mixed drinks and tell us they don't typically tend bar. Took another 12 minutes to get a blue moon cause they had to go find an orange and slice it up.

Though convenient, the choices are few for a person that is gluten free and dairy free. The service was slow. Staff is very nice, but need to work out some kinks.

Food is overpriced and subpar. The staff is not well trained and confused by the menu. They managed to fix something that wasn't broken.

2Stats because the seafood and butcher guys are awesome! They always give me a deal. However the rest of the store seems angry your there in the way?? I thought I knew a couple of the staff but they all just got angrier over the last couple months. I'm thinking of going to first ave Hyvee there you know that most of the staff will not be polite, that's better than being lied to.

The customer service here is below average, very slow and not very helpful. To add on to this their are also a majority of people in the store with no mask, and it's quite dirty, scary during a pandemic. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

My daughter ordered pie for her wedding from this hyvee location. She had the order placed 2 weeks in advance! 2 days before the wedding the bakery manager called and said the were not sent the right pie. This was not the truth. The bakery manager did not submit the order nor did he check the other stores in town to see if they had the right pies. Also there were no utensils offered. No charge for the pie!!! I would go elsewhere . The bakery manager came off as not caring. My daughter said when she placed the order she got a bad vibe from the bakery manager. The store manager is very capable and accommodating. However she did not get back to me as she said she would. The pie that was sent was not the pie that was ordered.

Social Distancing. The new norm. Unfortunately you still need to get sustenance during a pandemic. But OMG. Walking in the store just gives me the heebie jeebies-- I can't imagine going aisle by aisle, finding my must-haves in a very picked-over store right now. Eeek. This review is based on my experience with Hy-Vee at this location during the pandemic. I've been a longtime Hy-Vee Aisles Online Grocery Shopping customer. HOWEVER. Surprise, surprise-- because of the panic and self quarantining in the community they're super, duper busy! Deliveries and pickup are days and days out at so many of the local stores. This one is the somewhat forgotten of the couple locations in IC/Coralville and I could get next day pickup. BOOM. I drove across town and up to one of their three designated spots. An employee came out to confirm what the name on my order was. He then came out, loaded them in my trunk. Had me sign for them, show him my ID (I had ordered alcohol). Easy peasy. Everyday things are changing. But the need for groceries is not going to change. Thank you to this Hy-Vee for being there for us during this uncertain and extremely stressful time. The employees who are out there stocking the shelves, personal shopping or making deliveries-- you're making this all a bit easier for the rest of us and I am so grateful.

There are a total of 3 Hy-Vee's that are located in the Iowa City limits. This one services those living in the North and Northeastern part of it. Compared to the other two, this is average. The salad bar is the least of the three. I do not know why they even have it. It is very small with very little options. That said, everything else about this Hy-Vee is good. You'll find what you need. Plenty of parking as well.
