This is not our first visit to this gem close to the water feature paddle sport play hole on the Maquoketa. Originally known for their brown ale, this brewery now has some solid sour offerings and a unique blood orange IPA. The Four Norseman IPA is also a solid offering in an admittedly crowded IPA field. Clean comfortable physical plant and you can bring in carryout from local restaurants. Great staff.
We swung in from an hour drive to grab a beer and head out. The beer was amazing and they served complimentary pretzels, nice touch. We sat on their big comfy couch and enjoyed our brews. It was a very relaxing atmosphere and the staff was friendly. We will be going back for a few more!

We now live in Colorado. My father in law kwho still lives in Iowa) found this place. Nice shoes is a delicious beer. Always friendly knowledge service. Now we go out of our way to stop in every time we visit Iowa.
