I had the Brisket Philly and oh me oh my, it was absolutely devine. I typically have a difficult time choosing what to eat but my waitress chose for me and she was absolutely lovely and the food recommendation was absolutely phenomenal. I'd recommend whole families go here. The House sauce is absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is so calming and welcoming. I'd go here 7 days a week if my wallet wasn't screaming at me constantly ?

Came here on a Monday night and they were quite literally out of every meat except pork, which didn't make me and my friends very happy. But when we came two days later for lunch, they had all their usual food choices, and the food was really good, as always. Long story short: if you want choices in meats, come for lunch, not supper.

Such a good family friendly restaurant! Had multiple highchairs, amazing food, the lighting was a more dim lighting unlike the standard over-stimulating bright lights that many places have. Our server was very friendly. There was live music. Did I mention the food is absolutely delicious! We look forward to coming back soon!

Maybe the most cooked chewy dry ribs ever.I travel all over the US trying BBQ and smoked pork ribs are my favorite..Why would they serve 3 plates of over cooked ribs?. Cooked so much the sugar has caramelized into glass and you can't bite it.We ate what we could and and mentioned to the server that moist ribs are way better. She said "We should have sent them all back, I said you should have served them'' .Cornbread slaw and potato salad is awesome...If you order ribs send them back or something you can eat.Other reviews stating the same problem.

The food was amazing, the ladies working are, too. THE FRIED PICKLES are the best I've ever had. I get them EVERYWHERE. They're served with thick, homemade ranch. The other food was really good as well, savory and cooked to perfection. 10/10 recommend for the pickles alone.

Place has gone way down hill not open till they say they are hardly EVER! We’re not talking a hour early closed we’re talking hours early!!! Food is decent hit or miss some days it’s great others it’s poor thank for taking care of my BBQ craving at 6:30 when says you close at 9 I would have been there at 2 when I mapped out the menu but held off till dinner all for you to have no food available what a joke!

Food was good, it’s a random Tuesday night. The white chicken chili sells out most all days at lunch. The ribs were dried out from setting a while. The place had the look and feel of good BBQ. A rick of wood on the porch walking in and I could smell smoke as well. The food even looked promising when it was delivered to me. I ordered the combo which came with pulled pork, brisket, a chicken leg and a hunk of cornbread. I also ordered the 2 rib sampler as well, and I chose apple slaw and smoked beans as my sides. At first glance, everything looked legit (especially the brisket). Unfortunately, it was all somewhat dry and I was a little surprised that there was almost no smoke flavor at all on my pulled pork or brisket. The ribs, although a little on the dry side and slightly chewy, actually did have a good smoke on them, despite the brisket and pulled pork having almost none. Wondering if they’re just “cooking” (you shouldn’t really “cook” BBQ) the food too fast/too high of heat instead of a true low-temp, slow smoking process, which gets you the deep smoke rings on the brisket and gives all the meat that “fall off the bone” tenderness??? That’s my guess. I travel all over the country and frequently travel to Texas which has some of the best BBQ in the world, so my expectations are quite high. But hey, if you’re gonna do it, why not do it right and strive to be the best around? Maybe I just came on the wrong night? Who knows. I’ll try it again the next time I come through town and I’ll update this review.

Great food for most every price. Atmosphere for Days. Staff is incredible. And the entertainment when I went was World Class. International Blues Legend, Kevin Burt was playing I guess you could say Q Dogs is one of my Favorite BBQ joints.????Kid-friendliness: The entertainment when I went was kid friendly, plus. Kevin Burt has a Children's CD available. And atmosphere is kid friendly as well with several families there with children of all ages.

Iowa has some fantastic Blues artists. I've stopped there when passing by to have some good BBQ a few times and found myself enjoying my meal while sitting only a few feet away from a live performance by some extremely talented Blues artists. It was an unexpected treat. Kevin Burt was there tonight. Look him up on Youtube. It was great. I would have paid good money just to see him and others who've performed there, not to mention sitting close enough to see how they can strum their guitar. The food was good too and service could not have been better.
QDogs has been a long-time favorite of mine. I love the fry seasoning and other sides, and the pork is great. I especially like the choices of BBQ sauce, including a great mustard option (my favorite). My only complaint is that the large bun could use a touch more meat to fill it up.

Not sure yet, we came later to eat and listen to the Blues band, but the food was running out, not quite done to our pallet ?. A good selection of beers, the band was great, the server was very good, she did her best for us.

Incredible, home-style, comfort food at it's finest. QDog is a must! I absolutely love being able to support local small business, get great food at a reasonable price and the quality is always consistent. The services is excellent, friendly and inviting. We have always felt welcomed and never rushed; whether dining as a couple or with the whole family. If you can make it on night when there is live music, that's just a bonus for you!

Good generic barbecue. Nothing unique or special. Probably not as good as what I make at home, but their is the convenience factor of having someone else prepare it. Then again, part of the fun of smoking and BBQ at home is the prep and making it.
