Great food, service was a little lacking, got the wrong drink and could not get it corrected.

A Mexican restaurant that needs to stick to Mexican food. Everything was excellent. The atmosphere was relaxed, prices were average, la ton of options to pick from. I only have 1 complaint. My husband ordered onion rings for an appetizer. They came out over done and I found a hair on the plate. I tried telling the server that I wanted a different order of o.r. he must have thought I said my o.r. were too crispy, because my next order came back underdone.

There is some nice food on the menu. Definitely good enough we'll try again at some point. We've been in before a while back and just weren't super-impressed with the service and delays at the restaurant. Same thing happened again this time. We ordered an appetizer and then two entrees. The appetizer was pretty good with consume we really liked. My wife's dinner order came out, but then two other tables got their food. One of the tables had a server come back to them three times before my food finally arrived. No heads up from the staff. No apology. Later we had to sit for an uncomfortably long time wait for a box and for the check. The food was good, but not the best we've had within driving distance. They have enough interesting things on the menu though and I really like some of the management choices and community involvement.

Whether I'm picking up an order to go, or spending 3 hours catching up with friends, I always have a great experience! The food is fantastic and the service couldn't be better.

Fantastic place to eat! Service was great, and the food and drinks exceeded my expectations. Really appreciated the unique menu items, as well as their efforts to be inclusive to customers with dietary restrictions. I sat at the bar with spent a good amount of time speaking with Alfonso, the owner. Seemed like a really great guy with a genuine passion for the food industry and serving his customers. Definitely don't pass this place up if you're passing through marshalltown. No love, no tacos :)

First time here my experience was great. The staff was really kind. Would like to go back to try their margaritas and other menu items. Only thing is my burrito fajita came without the fajita part only got chicken but I was hungry and the chicken was well seasoned. I'm sure they would of fixed it if I asked. Oh and the queso was some of the best I've had.

Made a trip to Iowa to visit friends and family and take in a college football game. Over the last few years, we have driven by this restaurant and finally decided to stop. Wow!!! Should have stopped sooner. Great atmosphere, food was outstanding, and the margaritas were good. We ordered the fajitas for two and had way too much food. Flavor was really good and the grilled tortillas were awesome. The server was super, she asked about our visit and was very attentive.

This was our first time here, visiting from out of town. The proximity to our hotel was the reason we decided to try it.The food was ok, servers were very nice and attentive. What my family and I did not like was all of the gay and black lives matter propaganda in our faces while we ate, hanging on the walls. Why not Brown lives matter (Mexicans) or All lives matter or (visual) support for your local law enforcement?
