We stopped at Perkins in Marshalltown about 8 tonight. We were nicely greeted and promptly seated. I ordered the Parmesan grilled Prime Rib sandwich with fries. Oh my! What a great sandwich! It is only available on weekends, I would order it whenever I went if it were on the regular menu. You have to try it!

Cleanliness is a big thing for me and I am aware of labor shortages. A customer should not be seated where a pile of french fries are on the floor.

My wife ordered the Salmon, it came still frozen and raw in the middle. Brought it to the attention of the server ,He said I am sorry and left, We decided to take it home and cook it ourselves and ask for a takeout box, we told the lady who was seating everyone , the reason for the takeout that it was raw in the middle and she said I sorry and left. No one offered to recook it or replace it at anytime. Not the Perkins we know and like.Parking: none, it isn't about the parkingWheelchair accessibility: none

Came in for breakfast for my 20th wedding anniversary. Ordered the prime rib eggs Benedict. I had to send the eggs back because they were way overcooked. Also, the eggs Benedict, apparently, doesn't automatically come with poached eggs, and that was not indicated anywhere. You apparently have to ask for that. Which is weird because poached eggs are a key ingredient to eggs Benedict. There was a guy who finally explained that to me and personally poached my eggs. He also went out of his way and came back to check on me. He deserves kudos. Because of him, my meal was saved. Also, the meat was overcooked, and the hollandaise sauce was broken, but I didn't feel like addressing that.

Hours of operations IS NOT 24 hours on Fridays. Opening at 6 a.m. means there are only open 18 hours on Fridays. What a disappointment, woke up at 3 a.m. hungry.
