This was our first and last experience eating at La Fiesta Tienda Mexicana. We waited a while before someone took our order and we waited a very LONG time to actually get our dinner for 2 people. My husband ordered three tacos and a tostada while I ordered a single cheese enchilada. His meal came first and he was about finished before I was served my enchilada. The enchilada was cold and the cheese wasn't melted anywhere in the enchilada. It looked like someone splattered a few spoonfuls of red sauce on top and covered it with diced tomatoes, lettuce, and onions and called it good. So why did I wait so long for this enchilada that looked like it took 2 minutes to make? The red sauce had a sharp bite to it. After 1 bite I couldn't and didn't want to eat the rest and I'm NOT a picky eater. The service wasn't any better. Both waitresses were more concerned about their significant others than making sure we had silverware after they served us food or that we wanted to pay the bill and leave.

My wife and I decided to try La Fiesta this evening, and unfortunately our experience was not positive.I ordered the Taco Plate and a tostada. I waited over 40 minutes for three tacos that were barely warm, and tostada with meat that seemed to be in a warmer for much too long. Dry and stale is the best way to describe it.My wife ordered a cheese enchilada. Her one enchalada came out over 10 minutes after my food. When she finally got it it was little more then a burrito with some red sauce on it. The cheese wasn't melted and was just "warm."Over the course of the 50 minutes we we there the two waitress were more interested in other people. Our waitress's family was eating food, and although they were only one table in front of us she never asked about drink refills, or seemed to care that our food hadn't arrived. The other waitress seemed occupied with someone that appeared to be her boyfriend. The waitress's family was the only other table being served, so I am unsure why the service was so bad or why our sub par food took so long. Unfortunately we have no desire to go back, and unfortunately we try to support local restaurants.

Service was fast and friendly. The tacos are the best I’ve had since moving to Mason. I will definitely be going back!

I was super excited to try this yesterday. Ordered 57$ worth of food for my fam & I. They forgot part of my order. So I called and spoke to someone who assured me they would deliver my food even if it was after 7pm. Instead of the restaurant calling me to tell me they changed their mind, and would no longer deliver my food, they called door dash to call me & issue a refund. Very disappointing!

All looked delicious and presentable at first until I tried the shrimp. First few was okay but over cooked. After a few pieces of shrimp, others had an awful taste! Defenitly would not recommend. I hope the restaurant manager definitely checks the expiration dates!

First off, the place is small and I mean TINY!! But, big things come in small packages. I stopped by around 6:15 pm; they close at 7:00 pm. I placed my order: 6 lengua de res (beef tongue) tacos and 3 chorizo Sopes. My gosh! How delicious! A Sope is the corn breading on a tamale, flattened out, grilled, then deep fried. Then, they top it with meat, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, etc... It was fantastic! I finished my order with some sodas and my bill was $35.84. I thought it was a little pricey, but the food was fantastic. They even grill these little peppers as a side with the limes. Spicy, but delicious !The restaurant was clean but has limited seating. They can seat 24 people as a max. Also, there was a rack on one end that sells dried peppers, corn husks, chipotle peppers, and other authentic Mexican foods.Lastly, the parking lot is in the back of the building. Turn east off of Federal Ave. onto 16th NE then south through the alley. You’ll see the parking lot with the restaurant on the right hand side. The main waitress is super friendly and speaks perfect English. TRY THIS FOOD. You won’t regret it!
