We came in as a large party on a Friday night close to closing time. The two girls working were incredibly helpful and pleasant even though the scene was chaotic. It's nice to see a thriving business in Mason City where so many seem to struggle.

Pros: Friendly service, clean business, and a wide variety of delicious choices.Cons: When paying, you are asked if you want to give a tip. Considering nearly everything is self-serve, I rarely tip (as I’m sure is the same for most customers); however, I’ve learned that the employees are not paid minimum wage since they can “earn” tips. I don’t appreciate businesses that exploit their workers in this way.

I come here pretty infrequently. Depending on which flavor you get, almost all of them taste like nothing except for a very few select flavors--but I suppose that's what the toppings are for so you can overload on the missing sweetness.It's nice they include calorie nutrition labels for each flavor. The place is usually clean and quiet in the winter. Makes sense. The ladies that run the cashier also make sure that the scooping station is cleaned frequently, but sometimes some cashiers stock different product in the scoops so if you came in one time and saw brownie, it may not be there next time and will be replaced with something else. They will always have the essentials like fruit, boba etc. They even make smoothies and acai bowls there. My particular favorite flavor is the Gelato they occasionally bring back once in a great while. Otherwise Chocolate & Strawberry have the most flavor in my opinion.

Not bad...not great. We decided to go and check this place out.. When we entered the place...no one was there....no hostess...no cashier...no nothing. I wasn't sure if we were supposed to help ourselves to the froyo or what... since this was our first time experience. I was hesitant about helping ourselves to the froyo...but eventually some other people entered the store and they just grabbed a plastic container and started filling up. SoOooo we proceeded to do the same.My daughter was so excited to try all the different kinds of flavors, she ended up putting a little of everything in her plastic cup. Wedding cake, cheesecake and so on.After about 10 min...a teen girl emerged from the back and waited for the other customers to check out. We eventually made our way to the topping bar, added the toppings to our froyo...then checked out.Reminder: You pay by the pound. It gets expensive fast.After checking out...we sat at a table and tried the different flavors.. Unfortunately, all the white flavors tasted the same. The only flavors that had any taste where the fruity and chocolate ones. Kinda bummed.Oh well. Lesson learned.

Staff was very nice , my son asked how they made the frozen yogurt and he took a moment and explained to him how they do it. Great selection of frozen yogurt and toppings.

I am an Orange Leaf fan. I always find them in cities with little to no vegan options, so it's the perfect place to get vegan soft serve. This location had two vegan options when I went, a cherry and a pineapple. You can also swirl the 2 flavors. I really wanted some of that cherry soft serve, but I gave up sweets for lent, so maybe next time. They also serve smoothies now. The smoothies can be made vegan by subbing almond milk. I got the Wild Mango. It was good but too icy. I'd ask for less ice next time. The place is large and clean and the employees were very friendly and helpful.

I really liked this place because they have so many great flavors! They had almost too many toppings. and i have never seen boba bubbles at a froyo place! i had everything strawberry with som chocolate flavor and chips

Orange Leaf offers a great variety of frozen goodness with a huge selection of toppings. The place is bright, clean and cute. The staff was very friendly and helpful in explaining the process. It's a fun, dish up your own soft-serve type of place!
