Always tasty! (With some advanced notice) they ha e even worked with us to do special BIG group orders, that everyone ends up loving because it's so tasty. Great service even when busy, the employees are always running to take care of everyone!
I enjoyed a cheese delight and fries. I highly recommend the home made root beer. It has a rich vanilla flavor and tickled my taste buds. The classic checkered wrap was a nice nostalgic touch.

Under new ownership...now called Awe'z Sandwich Shop...but no worries, rest assured, pretty much everything is unchanged...same counter seating and service, same table/booth seating arrangement...same good food and service. Came for the "loose meat" sandwich and was not disappointed...just like the Maid Rite...you can get the large size or the smaller size, it all depends on if you want a larger burger bun, or a smaller burger bun...they are priced accordingly. This joint has been here for generations...still going strong...there was a really good lunch crowd the Thursday that we visited. Enjoy !!!
Very maid-rite like. Had very good service with very good servers that were working at the time. I don't know if the root beer was homemade but it was phenomenal! And last of all very good food!

Dine in or to-go. Very similar to The Tendermaid in Austin,MN except more space. Loose meat sandwiches, shakes, onion rings/fries/etc. Wouldn't recommend if you are trying to eat lean protein or unfried. Delicious!
