I went through Scooters and ordered a Blended white mocha latte with three extra shots of espresso, no whip. The drink I received did not have the six shots of espresso in it. It barely had any espresso taste at all. And it wasn’t blended very well at all , it has big chunks of ice that clog the straw when you try to drink it. Normally am very happy with Scooters , but today they fell short of making a good drink.

I normally go to the clear lake scooters, but was closer to the Mason city one, so decided to treat myself and my friend. We ordered an iced daydreamer, a strawberry smoothie and a lil smiley strawberry smoothie for her daughter. The daydreamer was good, the adult smoothie had a sip lid?? And the lil smiley didn’t have whip or get a small bendy straw like they’re supposed to. They also were pretty slow and we waited for a while longer than I feel we should have. I personally will keep going to the clear lake one where things are really consistent.

I placed an order in the app for pickup; not only did it not state that the order wouldn’t be started until we arrived, but upon arrival my son stood at the counter for approx 8 minutes without being acknowledged. I waited in the car for an additional nearly 10 minutes before going in and noticing that not a single drink had been completed. Who I assume was the manager continued on helping the drive thru while we waited a total of nearly 20 minutes since arriving with no beverages. Once they told me my order was finished, I quickly grabbed them and exited but had to turn around to come back because the order was not complete and they had forgotten a drink. Go somewhere else to get your caffeine needs met; unless you like waiting for mediocre, cold coffee.

Was feeling chilly and I saw the cutest beverage dancing outside, so I stopped by and had a sit down to relax a little. Had the salted caramel drink and cinnamon roll, 10/10.

We were looking to get a quick caffeine fix before leaving town. Have had mixed experiences at Scooters but it was close to where we were filling up. The medium coffee was weak and Folgers-like. The espresso drink we got was super sweet. The coffee flavor was lost in the swell of milk and syrup.

I generally enjoy scooters, but this location has issues. They got my drink wrong so many times now I just explain exactly what I want step by step rather than naming the drink. Some of the baristas are just plain rude. I brought my own cup for water, and when the barista rang up 50¢ for, the water I asked her why I was being charged if I brought my own cup. She ran the transaction before I could ask her to take it off and sourly said that’s just how much water costs.
