My favorite part about a road trip to the Midwest is discovering Amish country stores. I am a big fan of their homemade candies, baked goods, pies, and bread. Country Variety, offers many different types of pickled foods and jams. There are also, kolaches (Czech pastry), that's the first thing; I've tried. I was blown away by the raspberry kolaches. This is a darling store with fresh baked goods and much more! Everything looks and smells wonderful. I’ve visited several Amish stores on my trip thru IA and this was my favorite! A must-stop when you’re in the area. Look forward to returning!

Quaint little Amish store. The lady was super nice, and the baked goods are phenomenal! Honestly, some of the best I've ever had in my life! I recommend the raspberry cream cheese rolls.
