First time trying this very standard Chinese restaurant. My first impression was delight by the elaborate decoration all over the place. Great job there, this place has probably been around for 40 or so years. The service was absolutely adequate and the menu is 100% reliably standard, maybe even a little heavy handed with the meat ingredients and lacks options for vegeterians. Not the same for some reason. This used to be my absolute favorite loxal chinese restaurant. I'm not sure I can say the same anymore. It seems like the servings are smaller and the quality is inconsistent.

Peking is a restaurant I've thoroughly enjoyed in years past. It had been the same owners throughout the majority of that time. Any time there is a change in ownership one expects changes to the menu, price, etc. One expects a few kinks to be worked out as the new owners find their feet, that's all expected.However, I have eaten here a handful of times since new ownership and can say it is not what it once was.
