“Chester's is a solid food option in Newton, IA. We were driving through around lunchtime and our first thought was to drive thru McDonalds however I noticed an almost overlooked Chester's lived inside the gas station attached to the McDonalds. The staff was fabulous-- the epitome of Iowa nice. The woman at the register obviously took pride in what she did and served us up some freshly fried chicken sandwiches. Delish. I had the standard fried chicken sandwich-- which had a Chester's marinated breast topped with crinkle-cut dill pickles, placed on a brioche bun, and lightly coated with honey butter. Clean plate club here. The mac n cheese was solid and the potato wedges were solid as well. Pricing was on point-- the restaurant itself was clean. This Chester's is hidden, for sure. And it's a bit less convenient then other fast food spots in the area due to no drive thru. Additionally if you get a drink, you need to walk into the gas station to fill a fountain drink. Which is fine, just not super fast. Overall-- Chester's was worth the stop! I want to try the Buffalo chicken sandwich next time.“

“This was the best KFC I have ever been to. The employees were super nice, greeted my friend and I as soon as we came in. Our food was hot and fresh. We had tenders, mac n cheese and mashed potatoes with gravy. Prefect hot meal for a chili day.“
