Just OMG...... the beer selection. Best I've seen in the area since moving to Iowa City a year or so ago. If you like 2x and 3x IPAs, well, here you go. They have Black State and plenty of others that rival NorCal, SoCal, Chicago, Oregon and other. You're paying for it, (up to $8 a can), but you only live once.

Today I purchased a few items went to cashier Deborah N. Still spent over $60. I noticed that this cashier charged me twice for one bag of potatoes and three times for 2 cases of squirt. Almost back to back. When I told her she overcharged me she had a smile on her face? REALLY? Maybe she thought it was funny but I certainly didn't. She was going to charge me 14$ over what I bought. Not very professional to laugh when you make the same mistake twice. I was very unhappy and frustrated. I immediately called the store customer service. I mentioned her name and the rep knew exactly who I was talking about and she tells me this person does not speak English very well. Not a VERY POSITIVE EXPERIENCE and I'm sure nothing will be done about this inappropriate response. Very disappointing.

I love shopping at the Crosspark location. My other option is the North Dodge store. Ugh! This store has WAY more choice, numerous brands, fresh bread, restaurants, deli, ice, plenty of checkout attendants. The variety in produce is awesome. The meat department will go out of their way to get what you want! Clean, bright, friendly.

Let's be clear. This is a grocery store. Don't expect much more and you'll be in great shape.

Do NOT like Chinese food at all.

Aisles online has become a joke. I know it is tough to hire help right now but you need to do a reading and counting test for those folks. Tired of paying for but not getting what I ordered. This is a slick way to keep the stock holders happy as it probably shows up as profit for the store.

Always out of their special offer of the day. No matter what time you get there! GIMMICK FALSE ADVERTISING FRAUD. GET THIS...NO SHOPPING CARTS AT NORTH ENTRANCE. I have noticed store employees interact less and don't smile. Use to be their slogan "helpful smile in every aisle" They use to carry out your groceries, bag them, check you out, and care while doing it. What happened? low pay? micro management, lack of training. Big corporate greed. Why are there only pennies differences in price between a name brand and a Hyvee label? Took me 45 minutes to get 6 items by the time I finally got checked out. I REFUSE TO SELF CHECK WITHOUT GETTING A DISCOUNT AT ANY STORE!!!

What happened to "the smile in every isle?" NOBODY smiles not the employees or the patrons. Very miserable atmosphere. It actually made me chuckle the depression and darkness that sweeps the floor of that place. It's not Hy-Vee's fault the food prices are so outrageous, but we can still change the atmosphere with our positive vibes and smiles!

The sweet n sour chicken was overcooked, rock hard deep fried chicken strips..we did not eat more than a couple bites.
