Best pizza around! Hands down! Worth the price! However, wasn't super excited for the burnt onion right that cost 14.00.

Not great. The pizza sauce is too sweet - and not very much sausage - maybe an average of one piece of sausage per piece of pizza. That may be an exaggeration.... No hooks for coat or purse in the bathroom. How much does a couple of hooks cost? I am spoiled by pizza place in West Des Moines.

Great pizza. Terrible service. Lazy staff. Call at at 7:05pm on a Sunday and was told the kitchen closes at 7pm and its just a to go place so why would they be open till 7:30 if the kitchen closes and they stop taking orders at 7pm???

If you're looking for Chicago style pizza, you won't find it here. A handmade pan from Domino's tastes much better, and is much thicker. The top of the pizza was doughy, and the sauce tasted fermented.I believe this place gets it's name from two Brits, and the Brits aren't exactly known for their food. Leave the pizza to people from the Windy City, guys.

Deep dish pizza was hot and fresh. Crispy and cheesy and chewy. All good. Friendly staff will return when in the area. Oh it's take out or delivery .

When we have a hankering for taco pizza on our trips to Iowa, we usually go with the original at Happy Joe's, but on a recent occasion we decided to pick up from Wig & Pen, as we were curious about how it would work as a deep-dish Chicago style pizza. Also, there were some in our group who are decidedly not fans of this particular concoction, so we had to choose a place that offered something a little more traditional. In addition to the taco pizza, we got one of their Union Jacks, which most closely resembles Giordano's special. With regard to the taco pizza, it differs from the Happy Joe's version in that it isn't made with refried beans, which I think is a critical component of a proper taco pizza. Still good, but not quite what I was looking for. The Union Jack was good, a very classic Chicago-style pizza. The crust was good, maybe just a little dry. In any case, this satisfied our cravings but we'll be getting one of those Happy Joe's originals soon.

We had our first pizza from Wig & Pen - a 14" thin crust with sausage, pepperoni, mushroom and black olives. This is our new favorite pizza place in North Liberty! Love the crust and it was loaded with toppings and cheese. Only minor drawback is that we ordered online for curbside pickup but had to go in and pick it up. Not a big deal. We'll definitely be ordering again!

I have purchased the north liberty Wig And Pen Pizza Pub - Cville for several years. In the past, they have been wonderful! Unfortunately, the last two pizzas that I purchased were not good. About a month ago I bought a pizza, medium flying tomato union, jack and the crust was doughy, undercooked. Last night I purchased another one. I asked them to make sure the crust was done. This time I was given a very burnt crust. How disappointing!! I guess I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

They do have a gluten free crust. However, be careful if you have a reaction to cross contamination. You may have side effects.
