This place was unexpectedly AMAZING! My husband, son and I ate here for the first time ever for lunch 3/24/24 and it was fantastic! For a bar and grill one never expects anything out of the ordinary. Just your regular service and bar food. However, we were immediately greeted with amazing energy and service! There was only one man to serve the bar and the sit down area to eat and he did beyond amazing. Even after we sat down and ordered drinks and then appetizers and food more people started coming in and he met them with the same amazing energy and service. He warned everyone he was alone behind the bar and to get orders and people still chose to stay and wait and I fully believe it was because of the man behind the bar and the amazing food! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a bite to eat in a great atmosphere and energetic/ personable staff!

The drinks were good. However, the blond woman working after midnight 3/21/24 was all sorts of rude. To the point my party all left. I requested something non-alcoholic (after drinking some alcoholic beverages). And then demanded that she recieve a tip because "she stayed open for us" even though it was still open when we got there.Won't be back.

Met a friend here while I was in town for a job. At first glance, it just looks like a sports bar but the staff is so nice and welcoming. The food was absolutely fantastic! My friend let me try her ribeye and I had a burger. The meat for both orders was cooked properly and didn't take terribly long to come out. The server was handling the bar AND the dining room. Even though she was pretty busy she kept up with all of our requests, including drink refills. I highly recommend this place!

Stopped in today and they had an active pool tournament with a full house. Great atmosphere and TVs covering all the sports action. You can't find a better place for customer service and food. Such a special place. Recent reviews seem off, don't let that stop you from this true gem of a restaurant. Clearly, their focus is on their customers and quality of their product.

My underaged child came home very much inebriated after going out to dinner with friends at this restaurant they served my daughter alcohol I am beyond mad and will be letting all fellow parents know.

So I got food poisoning because I said my food was too cold. the cook there jacob said he wouldnt remake my food and was extremely rude I was extremely sick for a couple days do not recommend

service was terrible, employees had the door locked and were sitting down so they didn't have to work. Rushed us the entire meal and were extremely rude. Ended up getting food poisoning from there food that it lasted 2 days. Dont recommend ever eating at this establishment. terrible wait staff and untrained cooks. The atmosphere was gloomy no lights on, no music, literally dead sielnt you could hear a pen drop. the staff made us uncomfortable the whole time just trying to get us to leave because they didn't want to work. Go waste your money at a restaurant that will treat you right like uncle Bucks Bar & Grill! Also the staff jaccob batterson made threats for me telling management about purposely messing with my food to cause me to get sick worst establishment I have ever been too.

This place is packed on a Monday night. The bartender and waitress are quick to get your orders. The servers are like track stars getting your orders out and always asking can they get more. I eat all over the country on my travels and have never been so impressed by their service. WOW!
The waitress was very nice and helpful. The food was delicious and came out very quickly.

If the name doesn't give it away, this is a SPORTS bar. At least a dozen screens in the space had everything from baseball to surfing (no soccer while we were there & Poker isn't a sport).We had a BLT, Reuben, Buffalo Chicken Salad & breaded cauliflower.Wing specials look promising on Monday nights. Happy to find a place open before Thursday in Ottumwa.
