Had a great time. Hamburger was above and beyond, real French fries ?. Tori did an outstanding job of serving us, my first time there. Nacho burger was excellent. Definitely a great place for a quick bite to eat if you aren't into corporate fast food, this is an ideal spot to stop and have lunch. Prices are reasonable.... $20 per guest, approx. Flor does a great job of making everyone feel ? welcome.

We can't say enough great things about The Hills: Alejandro and his Staff do it right each and everytime! 2 of our favorites are The Hills Alambres and Beer Battered Tacos. The service is amazing, atmosphere is cozy and props to the Chef! We are so fortunate to have this restaurant in Pleasant Hill - if you have haven't tried it, please do! :)

Had an overpriced Cubano sandwich with a small portion of fries. The pulled pork was so overcooked it disintegrated in my mouth. it was not easy to find the ingredients of the sandwich as they were pretty sparse They used regular yellow mustard instead of Dijon and there we exactly 2 small pickle slices and i did not find any mayo at all. for the price of $14.50 I would have expected a healthy portion, but it was very small. There really wasn't much flavor at all to it. The fries were nothing special. I am not a fan of battered fries so only ate a couple anyway. I did order fried pickles for an appetizer and I am glad I did because it filled the hole form the small meal. they were different but decent. The service was decent and it is a cute little place. Food took about 15 minutes from order to table. Iced tea was very good. I probably won't go out of my way to visit there again.

Great local place with awesome service! Alfredo was good. The downside was the overpriced, small dry salmon and overcooked asparagus. Will go again, just maybe not for the salmon. 2nd time here. Love supporting local places!

This was our first time here tonight. The service we received was amazing. I believe our servers name was Kayla and she was absolutely fabulous. My boyfriend had the steak and I had a pasta dish. Everything was delicious. I will add that their creamy homemade parmesan dressing is so yummy! Definitely a 10/10 and we will be back.
First time dining here. I had seen it's positive review in a publication last summer, and been wanting to give it a try. Headed to Des Moines for wife's B-day, and thought we've give it a try. Kayla , our server, was great and our food was very good. The hominy soup was a pleasant surprise. The gaucomle appetizer was creamy and one of the best we've tried and the creme brulee dessert had a unique double sweetness and was very tasty. We'll definitely be back!

My family decided to try the hills on Friday night and got a table right away! The atmosphere was very homey, drinks were great, food was delicious. We were treated like family by the owner and support staff and overall, just loved our experience. We were disappointed in our server however..wrong drinks came for kids-no big deal, she forgot to bring our soup and salads-the support staff ended up bringing it out, and then didn't see her again until it was time to pay the bill and she said not a word...no thank you, no have a good night, nothing. We are excited to go back and try other items on the menus though!

Don't bother going unless you like sitting 20 minutes to just get water, another 20 minutes to have them come back and get your order. Our waitress was horrible. I don't know if was the way we were dressed, that our waitress didn't seem like we were important. I won't be going back....
