I went here for a first date, so we didn't eat anything, but I overheard many very happy patrons. The setting was perfect and our waitress made us feel very at home. I'll definitely eat next time I'm there!
Visited The Checkerboard for a late dinner on a weeknight. We were seated quickly and the staff was pleasant. We received our food quickly. Quality of the food was decent. We ordered the Onion Rings and Cheese Balls for an appetizer. We ordered a few pizzas, corn dogs and some chicken tenders. We left satisfied with the amount of food and took some "to-go" boxes with us. If we are in the area again, we may try this restaurant again, and try some other menu items.
