Dave (Micklewright) knows how to make appetizers. This isn't typical bar food. Bought in cans at Hy Vee and warmed in a microwave. Dave's nachos are some kind of custom meat. Lots of it. And plenty of cheese. They are meant for two people. And he's not kidding. I couldn't finish half of them.

Just stopped in to watch the lady Hawks play and decided to grab some nachos. They were huge and AMAZING! Made with all fresh ingredients and shredded cheese instead of cheese sauce! Chefs kiss!

Wonderful little tavern. Dave, the bartender/cook has a wonderful personality and welcoming attitude. We had taco special which is on Thursday night and are a big value.mushroom caps were excellent. Can't wait to go back and try more items.
Great service! Good selection of beers and great prices! Band playing the night I was there, they was a bit loud. Couldn't have a conversation with others I was there with.
