Another family owned jem. Lots of fun food, great fries and a nice (but little) town. Check out the breaded tender loin below!!! Now that's a meal in itself!!Don't forget to hit the Star Trek museum if you're a Star Trek fan.

What a place! I had the patty melt, and he had the murphy burger. Outstanding! Happy hour $2,50 beers. Can't beat the food and service. Eat local.

Driving up from St. Louis to Minneapolis, my wife had me detour to Riverside as a surprise to me since I'm such a Star Trek fan. Billed as the future 'birthplace' of Captain Kirk, it was cool to visit. We were also hungry, and saw this place and decided to try it. It was great! I got the Pork Tenderloin sandwich, my wife got the blackened chicken sandwich. Both were excellent and were pretty good portions. The staff was very friendly, the restaurant itself was very clean and welcoming. We would recommend this place easily! It was a pretty good fine in a small town, everyone we met their was very friendly!

Went to this place on a whim on a road trip. EASILY the best burger I've ever had. Friendly staff too!

First time coming in and last time. The server paid more time to friends at the bar. Had to ask for refills and go get our own. Ordered the $14 combo appetizer basket and did not even receive everything that came with it. I had to go back to the bar to tell the server, there was also 2 bartenders up there, and the server tried to tell me I was incorrect until we pulled the menu out and I showed her. We had to tell her we wanted the appetizer before our main food after not receiving it for a long time only to get it cold. When we finally did get the rest of the appetizers they were burnt. The mac n cheese was extremely mushy and buying a frozen one from the store would have tasted better and been cheaper. We also had to go up and look for to go boxes on our own for the salad my mother got after multiple times trying to flag the server down only for her to turn her back and lean over the bar top talking with the same people the entire time who were just drinking. The salad was the only part that looked good. Mostly the food seemed to be overpriced and the service was horrible. Would not recommend.

Stopped by to grab a drink & check it out.Never been to a bar where they don't have common standard liquors. No bacardi or anything similar, only Captain. Those are not comparable, sorry. Won't be back. I don't understand how you are in the bar business but don't have the common liquors. As the paying customer I expect more. Unless you drink vodka, stay home.
