Ate here during winter storm when buffet was closed all weekend. They weren't excessively busy but it took unusually long to get our food, and when we did, the meatball sandwich just wasn't that great. Bun was over-toasted yet the meatballs were barely lukewarm.Overall good experience at the casino, just not a great lunch.

They serve awesome food, great presentation. The people working all seem happy, super friendly and helpful.∆∆ UPDATE ∆∆ the food is still great I eat there almost every day for breakfast, and the best part is that it is free. Every morning, because I'm a double Platinum rewards member. It's delicious food everyday and it starts me out with a strong belly full of food. I don't know what I would do without it now, thank you so much Hard Rock and fuel American grill.

So my story starts with me trying to get a piece of pizza but the one under the warmer had been there for obviously sometime and they just had a new pizza come out that was fresh so I asked them can I get a fresh piece and they said that they couldn't do that that they had to finish the other Pizza first before they can give out the new one listen if a pizza cost that much and I'm the customer and I'm spending money in your Casino and I asked for a fresh piece rather than a old dried out burnt piece then you should probably do that you'd imagine they were rude. And all because of there la k of customer service.

Surprise of the trip so far. Great restaurant located in Hard Rock Casino. Food was amazing. Enough so that we had dinner there two nights in a row. Everything we tried was excellent. Service was friendly but a bit slow the first night but right on point the second night. Highly recommend this for dinner if in Sioux City.

Service and food wouldn't know because we didn't get to eat there since you have to be 21 and older to walk thru to get to the restaurant. I guess its not a family friendly restaurant. No kids allowed.

Disappointed (again). At least the Pizza is usually good.Staff should be retrained how to meet & greet customers with a friendly, positive attitude. When issues arise, they should not be responded to with the word "can't".However, a person with the 'can't' attitude is right.'Can't'."There are those who CAN and those who CAN'T ... The burger and fries was really good according to my husband. I had the street tacos and they were fantastic. I would order them again! Breakfast was good and we split the sandwich, which was perfect. As others have said, go get drinks from the free station in the casino first.
Food is okay. Cashier's are trash. Tips should def go to cooks. Def needs improvements... With as busy as the hard rock is, with everyone in town bein there, u would think the restaurant would be more than a 1 or 2 star service.

Went there last night, and while in general this was our best experience at Hard Rock, Fuel American Grill was the highlight. Every person there that we interacted with was friendly and even understanding to what i thought was our unusual needs. Food came out quickly. I took it to our hotel room and ate while wife came back later and at that time was too late to eat, so she brought it home and heated it up at home and her exact words were "those cheeseballs were AMAZING" so she was just as happy with hers next day as I was having mine fresh. I say you gotta try the cajun shrimp.

We have eaten at Fuel frequently. There seems to be a lot of staff turnover resulting in inconsistent service. The pizza by the slice when available is very good. Since the casino offers free soft drinks it would be nice to have a free soft drink dispenser closer to fuel such as is offered by nearby casinos like Grand Falls. There is one big negative. The Hard Rock Casino has a much smaller no smoking section than most Iowa casinos and one must walk thru smoking section to get to FUEL - also while restaurant seating is smoke free smoking allowed gaming is close enough that one might smell smoke while dining,

Service has gone downhill since this casino was bought out by Churchill Downs. Ordered wings tonight at 9:10pm and had to cancel order at 9:55pm due to unable to eat after 10pm.Ironically a similar order placed after mine by two young ladies was filled prior to my order being processed.Manager offered to comp the food but due to upcoming procedure in the morning out of town it would be wasted as I do not have a way to save the food for a later date....PLUS... I had ordered the food today due to I was hungry today ---- not in a few days.SAD SAD SAD experience.

The worst hamburger I've ever had! Don't do it!
