My steak was so wonderful, cooked perfectly! Cali was a great server to have on a quick bite to eat. So glad we stumbled upon this place! PS Strawberry Cheesecake is 100% worth it.

Service was exceptional- friendly and always available. Food was delicious and fairly priced. Atmosphere was fun and active but warm and intimate at same time. We will definitely be back

I brought my husband to Sioux City to the hard Rock casino as a thank you and a Valentine's Day date. When I was looking at the website I noticed that they had a gastro pub restaurant and they were offering a Valentine's Day menu which had New York strip steak on it, which is my husband's favorite. The restaurant is called Main and Abbey. We arrived for our reservation that was for 8:00 p.m. at 7:50 and we were seated immediately. It was brought to our attention by our waitress that our table had not been cleaned. So she immediately went and grabbed a rag and a dry rag and came back and cleaned our table off for us.Are waitresses name was Cali C. We ordered the New York strip steak medium well with Parmesan, garlic fries and a side of their Brussels sprouts. The steak came out cooked to perfection. It was very juicy. Very tender. Not a lot of fat. The french fries were perfectly seasoned with a garlic and the parmesan and the Brussels sprouts had the perfect amount of walnuts and pomegranate drizzle on them and they were perfectly crispy.Cali C. Our waitress was very bubbly, helpful, personable, attentive and just overall a great waitress.

We were told the reservations were running at least 30 mins behind “because people weren't leaving as quickly as they hoped.” We were willing to wait for our table. Then when we were finally seated the waitress informed us that “if” we wanted to stay it would be “at least an hour or more before they would even began our order.” She informed us we could stay in the booth as long as we wanted but wouldn't get to eat. She then came back in a few minutes to tell us there was a small fire in the kitchen and to not expect any food tonight. Very disappointing experience. I will not return to the Main and Abbey. Many of my friends were shocked at the poor management of the establishment and the big let down of our pre planned Valentines dinner that was advertised.

We had a reservation , but we were told the only way to get seated was to wait until a table cancelled. We sat for about 15 minutes at our table before anyone came to greet us or take our drink order: After an hour and a half, they came to tell us the kitchen had a fire and couldn't serve us any food . It was a poor experience from minute one.

We made online reservations. Will only let you make it for 4 people. We had a party of 10. We made two reservations of 4 and another for 2. Put a note on each one we wanted to be close or together. Reservation was for 5pm. Restaurant does not open until 4. We called at 4 and requested the same. They told us they would try. We get there and the female manager on duty was awful. She had ZERO intention of trying to accommodate us. They did put the two tables of 4 in the same area but not the table for 2 (which there were open tables by us) we asked several times to several employees to assist getting us together (who were willing to accommodate us but would always have to get approval from the manager who strongly said no every time.) The reason was due to high volume. Mind you, the place was empty. There was a table for 10 open right next to us for the entire time we were there. Had it been busy I would understand. It was not. Manager was 100% unwilling to try to work with us at all. HORRIBLE customer service. Everyone else was fine and the food was good. Will not return due to that manager.

Great food and wonderful service. Just beware this is a restaurant that is at a casino so you will have to deal with cigarette smoke on the way to the restaurant. Once inside it was minimal and definitely worth it.

Maria was our server. She was very friendly, prompt, and answered all of our questions. We enjoyed the Filet Mignon accompanied by a lobster tail and the Chicken Marsala. The steak was cooked perfectly and the taste was amazing. The lobster tail was a perfect enhancement. The Chicken Marsala was incredible-very flavorful!

Our server Paige was excellent with our 10 person demanding crew! She catered to our every need and want! Everything we ordered was excellent. Rack of lamb, prime rib, pork chops, bison, pasta, pretzel and crab Rangoon dip! Thank you for making our Christmas celebration awesome ?

Great service and quality restaurant. I travel across the US for work and eat at numerous higher end restaurants. This restaurant was a pleasant surprise with the menu variety and quality. Recommend the Salmon and NY Strip for those interested.

We stopped in for Wine and dessert. Paige our server was excellent as always and all the other staff as well. Everyone is always so pleasant and welcoming. We had the smores cheesecake and it was delicious!

I made a reservation on account it was my anniversary. We showed up on time and were promptly seated. We didn't wait long before our waitress arrived, and got our drinks order. When she returned we placed our food order. We ordered the pretzel appetizer, which was huge and delicious. For our entrees we ordered the chicken marsala and the lamb bolognese. Both were fantastic but the chicken was INCREDIBLE. The marsala sauce really makes the entire dish, it has a lot going on and the texture adds even more to the dish. Overall a great experience!
