Delicious! It's tough when traveling to find a good hot dog shop, and this one fits the bill.

This spot was an absolute gem. The service was fantastic, everyone was very pleasant and helpful. The chili was so good that my husband who hates chili loved it and ate 2 chili dogs, one a double. This was a fun and affordable stop that I would definitely recommend.Kid-friendliness: We have a 2 year-old and a 16 year-old and they both loved it. Especially the "fancy" bottled drinks.

I'm not much on hot dogs, but they were good. Fun atmosphere with the vintage look. Chili does not have beans, which was different from Southern Illinois. There is nothing better than walking into a restaurant and having a huge scale smack you in the face. I did get me a T-shirt. Thank you for the memories.Kid-friendliness: Great for the whole family.Parking: It was very busy so I understand the parking.

I enjoyed my experience. Good food. Great service along with the service.

Old school atmosphere from an old school place with old school food! I remember going to the old location with my great-grandmother. An outside her might not understand, but there's lots of history here. Order the bow wow with chili and cheese If you're hungry! I always pick some old school old Dutch pickle chips and get me a ham's beer with a frosty glass.

Have always loves the place since I was a kid and that is a long time ago. Family owned and operated and the pride of ownership shows through. Always bring new Sioux City peeps here and those visiting from out of town. Always clean and great service as well. Highly recommended.

I will admit, I am not huge into hotdogs. I mainly went for my husband. But we both agreed, these were not very good. They weren't bad, but it wasn't somewhere we would eat again. The service was friendly enough. It was extremely quick even on a Saturday around noon.

They may be famous for their hot dogs, but the cheeseburger, with chili and onions, amazing. On a scale of 1 to 10, it's a 20. After we both finished our cheeseburger, we had to try a hotdog. The staff even offered to cut it in half. I must say, this too was mighty tasty. If your in the area, drop by and grab a bite. You won't be disappointed.

My 10 year old found this place and insisted we try it. This being our first time, we walked in and were greeted by 4 gentlemen who were very helpful and friendly! Everything is a la cart style. The menu is posted on the board behind the counter with employees there ready to serve you quickly and efficiently! We loved the chili dogs, mustard, onions and chili on the hot dogs was so good!! Booth seating is avaliable inside with tables outside and even a walk up window!! So cute I thought! Very clean, comfortable with very respectful, polite and inviting staff there to help with whatever you need!! We will be coming back here again for sure! Our family of 6 all got at least 2 dogs per person, drinks and chips and it cost us under $63, for 6 people! That's a deal, and it was delicious food!!

My friends and I drove for over an hour to try the food here. We arrived at about 11:45AM on a Saturday, clearly within the business hours posted online and on the door sign. Nevertheless we walked up and the doors were locked, no sign was posted to state why it was not open, and nobody was around. Thank for wasting all of our time, we will not be back.

Stopped here 2 different times over the lunch hour and doors are locked. Hours say 11 to 2

Went out of our way to come here for lunch. Contrary to the hours posted here and Facebook, they weren't open. We won't come back.

Not the greatest hot dog I've ever eaten, but still very tasty. What most impressed me about this place is the atmosphere. It's got a pleasant old-school feel with old-school prices to match. I would recommend this place if you're eating local on a budget.

Good food but apparently if you criticize the food online the owners girlfriend will make insensitive comments about deceased people in your profile pictures. Extremely unprofessional.
