Picked this local spot because of the reviews. Waited a bit as it was packed. We order our drinks. A cider and the diving elk ale. Both really good. Appetizers were next. We ordered the queso with chips and the brussel sprouts. The queso was average and the sprouts were super delicious!!! My wives burger was under cooked as she wanted it well done. Sent it back and got a new one. She really liked the burger. Her truffle fries although were below average.My steak, garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus were the highlight of the evening. Perfectly cooked and super yummy. Didn't add anything to the steak as it was super good. Ate every last bit of it. If your looking for a local spot for dining. Don't hesitate, try The Diving Elk in Sioux City and the brussel sprouts!

The beer is great, the food was average, the service was not good. We had the stir fry which was not very good, the kids pizza and burger pretty good and the salad was good but the chicken was over cooked. Would be back for the beer.

Everything on the menu is delicious but my go tos are the goat cheese fondue, truffle fries and Brussels sprouts. The weekly slush is always a safe bet for a drink.
