Great place to eat. Friendly staff. We ate breakfast this morning, and had a small issue. The manager came right over to see what she could do to make it right. I highly recommend this restaurant if your ever in Solon they have something for everyone.

I was in a party of four, and we each ordered a different breakfast. No one was disappointed. I can't resist corned beef hash, and I would rate their hash among the very best I've ever eaten.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp up to the front door.

Very happy they have gluten free pancakes. The first plate looked good because the pancake on top was okay, but the bottom 2 were very dark/burned. When we pointed it out to the server, i ate the top one while she had the kitchen prepare 2 new cakes which were perfect. Good coffee, and server was attentive.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free pancakes!

We have enjoyed the restaurant in both Solon and North Liberty. The food is always fresh and delicious, the servers are very nice and helpful and the atmosphere reminds me of a neighborhood diner! Great spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner!

To be honest, I'm a breakfast guy. In my mind, breakfast is hard to screw up! I'll be 70 on my next birthday, so I'm a tad bit of a traditionalist. I like my bacon hickory smoked and my sausage lightly spiced. Blue Birds chefs, in searching for culinary distinction, have altered the spice choices in both their bacon and sausage and I'm sure they have created a legion of fans. I , however, am not one of them. My wife, girls and their families are big fans of the BBC, so I acquiesce to their choices and frequent the Solon location when they visit. Then I discovered the Hemingway Eggs Benedict...WOW! Its your normal Eggs Benny, but with smoked salmon instead of Canadian bacon. The eggs were poached perfection, the hollandaise was creamy buttery goodness and the pile of hashbrowns were a crispy addition to a great breakfast plate. I now can join the kids whenever we have a breakfast urge...BTW the staff is always friendly and attentive, much appreciated!
