“Service was a little slow due to the cashier having difficulty either interpreting a coupon we were using (classic roast beef sandwich for $2.99) or having difficulty seeing details on the register.Another worker did give us plenty of horsey sauce packets to go, a very nice gesture. We ordered two classic Roast Beef Sandwiches and two different Hushpuppy fish meals (one three-piece and one five-piece).I found the fish to be very tasty. The coating added a decent crunch and wasn’t greasy. Much as I love food at Culver’s, their fish entrees are always greasy and I really don’t like that. The tartar sauce was perfect for the fish, sweet and tangy. The fries were quite good; crispy without being too browned or burned, and decently salted. Got a bit dry near the end but hardly an issue given the sheer variety of sauces available in store. As a heads up, I don’t know how much longer the fish will be available at Arby’s as of this review. If you want the fish, get to a participating Arby’s in the next couple of days. The roast beef sandwich was good. It came plain but we had plenty of their famed horsey sauce. One packet sent me to Flavor Town, cleared out my sinuses, and singed my brain all at once. The beef itself was pretty tender and flavorful but the sauce added to its appeal. If you like spicy food, you’ll like the horsey sauce.Overall, I’d come here again. One more thing, If you get coupons in the mail, use them. The food items can get pricey. Your wallets will thank you for using them.”

“What luck, traveling through Mount Vernon, and saw The Plantiful Pantry! My husband took a drive around the block to give me time to quickly Google search. We were delighted to find a plant-based cafe offering grab and go items! The flavors of the Mexican Street taco bowl danced in my mouth. My husband said that his Tuscan wrap was the best wrap he has ever had. The Compost Cookie energy bites are fantastic! The menu had wonderful items for dine in as well. I highly recommend for everyone, whether you are plant-based/vegan or not, their food will not disappoint!”

“It was my first time there. I took my mom for a birthday lunch. Hannah was wonderful. She was very helpful and courteous and even got my mom a little birthday sweet at the end of the meal. I would recommend this place to anyone.”
“Another example of a wonderful family owned business! Think the posted photos really tell the story. Wonderful place to do business!! Check it out and bring your sweet tooth with you!!”
“Excellent food! Service is working out the kinks. Went twice in one week for dinner. Beer cheese soup is to die for! Steaks are flavorful and cooked just how one orders them! Service could use a little work - there seemed to be almost as many employees in the building as customers both times we visited and service was pretty slow. We sat for twenty minutes at the bar without even being acknowledged.”
“Saw the progress of this place as it was being built each month when we come to Cedar Rapids from Dubuque, finally got a chance to stop! Quick and friendly service. Iced white mocha is delicious - not TOO sweet or TOO bitter ?”
“Moved to Marion from California . We were used to having a custom coffee roaster for coffee . Iowa Coffee roasters has some beans we like . We will keep going back . It's nice not to have coffee shipped .”
“Fantastic small town restaurant atmosphere, even better food. The tenderloin is one of the very best in the Greater Cedar Rapids area and the best outside of CR.”

“The employees were friendly and inviting as soon as we walked in the door. They made out first visit easy and fun. Excellent gluten free, dairy free, and vegan options. The kids had so much fun picking their toppings and playing with pizza dough. We will be back!”

“After one visit, I would definitely return. And I recommend that anyone thinking about Lincoln should give it a try. We, however, were pretty disappointed with the pizza. We had the Margherita pizza and the crust was soggy and the flavors almost entirely absent. Marg flavors are subtle, so we added sausage. The tomato really needs something .. prob a little garlic will help. A dash of sea salt will bring out the mozzarella and it needs 3x basil. The sausage was the biggest disappointment. In this day of craft butchers and custom blends there is no excuse for the straight up browned pork sausage with not even a hint of flavor that we were served. There are pizza places I go to because their in-house blended sausage is addictingly delicious. The menu looked interesting and I hope for the sake of the people of Mt. Vernon that the other unique pies have more flavor (nowhere to go but up, really). And how can the bottom crust be so soggy? The oven is a work of art, but something about the process needs to change... or customers should plan on using a knife and fork because if you try to pick up a slice with your hands, the toppings will soon hit the table. Maybe this review seems harsh, but the staff were lovely and the atmosphere was great. There was just a huge let down when we tried the food. But like someone else said... a group of friends and a few bottles of wine will make for a fine night at the Licoln. I hope the owner or chef see this and just up their flavor game a bit! Thanks for reading.”

“Marion IA—deserves 10-stars, great service, delicious fresh wraps (Baja chicken & buffalo chicken, jalapeño corn), perfect smoothie, great service (didn’t rush us, explained things to us, then thanked us (these kids did a GREAT JOB)). Clean, cheap, quick…. Need I say more? Way better than McDonalds far less expensive. Great parking (I’m on crutches, I had no difficulty getting in and seated). This was our first visit but definitely not our last! Good bye Culver’s frozen custard hello tropical smoothie!!!!”

“Service was good but the French onion soup had way too much pepper. I had the $25 walleye and the breading tasted awful and was almost burnt. Tried to pick off breading and eat the fish and still was terrible…couldn’t eat it”

“Great food and great service in a small town tavern! Reminds me of the tavern down the street from my Grandparents house where everyone knows everyone, families meet and is the hub of the town. I will definitely be back!”

“Everything was good. They seemed to be in the middle of remodeling when I visited but that is probably done by now. The location is easy to miss, but really convenient for travelers if you notice the place. Overall, a great Subway!”
“Everything is awesome and so is kindness and friendliness, especially from the owner and chef Ms Gwen From the homemade chicken soup, the deviled eggs and pickled beets homemade onion rings and fried chicken. A great place to visit for awhile. You can't go wrong and Friday no get special was Walleye with shrimp and clams Homemade desserts to die for. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Ms Gwen for our great supper.”
“The choice of foods was excellent, something for almost hunger! I enjoyed a small portion of many of the vegestables, the choice of meats, and the salad and pizza. There was nothing that I didn't enjoy immensely! It is without doubt that my family will eat there often. Oh, yes, the price is so reasonable if not a little underpriced. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!”

“Good coffee and a somewhat limited selection of relatively expensive pastries. This coffee shop is located in one corner of a Brother's grocery store, so a wide variety of additional food and grocery items are readily available. Cabin Coffee seems to do most of its business through its drive-thru window. There are just a couple of tables indoors. Spacious clean restrooms, best in Lisbon, are available in the adjacent grocery store.Wheelchair accessibility: Curb cuts, electric doors, and available accessible restrooms.”
“When I walked into this Subway, to hang out with a friend, I wasn't sure if it was actually open! The place was dark from the outside and not a car in sight. The sun was shining in the window so bright that it was hard to see the bright neon sign that said "Open". We parked the car and got out to see if the doors would open. They did! We walked into a very bright , clean, but deserted restaurant. There were two faces behind the counter that greeted us. One very young man, and an older gentleman. They welcomed us into Subway and asked us how they could help us. We had only planned on getting a drink, but since we were there and it seemed like we were the only ones the”

“I have been a fan of the Daisy's Garage forever, we became aquainted at the original 1st ave location and its been a long running love affair. These folks raise pub grub to an art form, and toss in their fish boils, well there is something for everybody! Large portions make me smile, and I beam in this place. I'd be remiss to not mention their loaded tater tots, a cakepan full of tots, smothered in melted cheese, green onions and bacon. I get em' every visit! The new Marion locale is an easy drive from my home in Solon, you need to try this terrific restaurant and staff!”
