The food was really good. I asked about gluten free options. They claimed the chips were only fried with vegetables and no flower. They did not serve any breaded onion rings. The gluten must have been pretty low, but I think there was a little cross contamination, very small, I had slight reaction. Next time I will order steamed vegetables and steak.

We stopped here on our way to Colorado. It was Sunday and , besides the fast food places, it was the one of the 2 places open. While initially it didn't feel like we had a choice, since there weren't too many places open, it was the RIGHT CHOICE. The food was great! My fiancé loved the salsa, he usually doesn't care for it when we go to mexican restaurants. We had the carnitas and the pollo ranchero. We were surprised to see we had no forks, but you don't really need them, the meat comes apart easily. The server was attentive. I've noticed the restaurant has reviews from 9 years ago but it looks like maybe it's been recently renovated. I loved the murals! I'll definitely keep it in mind for next time we're doing the trip!
