Charming restaurant in a small town between Cedar Rapids and Iowa City - far more refined in appearance than I what I was accustomed to when I grew up in small-town Iowa. The food offerings are still classically American, but a little elevated. Kava House and Cafe was one of the best places we visited on our trip out to the Midwest! We visited on "Burger Friday," and the burgers did NOT disappoint! It was a pleasant surprise to walk in and smell the sweet aroma of coffee and see all the delicious flavors!
