I'm not usually one for museums and tours, but I got to say. I'm very impressed with how that went. It was actually very interesting. The selection of whiskeys was a lot bigger than I was expecting and they have some really great whiskey. I'll definitely be returning again with some friends. The perfect mix of old Town Iowa with a comforting modern feel
I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Templeton Distillery, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish!The museum tour was simply outstanding! Had a great time with our tour guide, Lynne. Templeton Rye has been made in Templeton since legalization in Iowa, producing rye and corn whiskeys. Still a family operation. Capable of bottling 7000 L a day during production.Very nice facility tour with a discount at the gift shop at the end.Definitely worth a trip.
