“It was our first time trying this place and we loved the food and Juan's service was great, from the moment he saw us thinking about what to order he was more than willing to help us and recommend what to try. Thanks to him we had a very nice experience“
“Cozy little place in West Des Moines. Was down from the Twin Cities for some other business and needed a quick lunch. The junction chicken was delicious and the sweet potato fries were some of the best I've ever had. It's a small place and seating is somewhat close together. Service was a bit slow but very friendly and welcoming. I would stop again if I'm in the area.“
“We are never out it Waukee but we definitely have a reason now to come out more often! If you love a good street taco, this is the place for you. We are a family of 5 and my kids all were saying this was the “best restaurant ever”!Food:I got 4 street tacosCarne Asada - by far my favorite. So juicy and tender.Chorizo - this was awesome and had a little kick to itBirra - wow! I absolutely loved the flavor and the added cheeseCarnitas - this was good but with the other being better, I wouldn’t get this one againMy kids got the kids meal with taco and rice. There wasn’t much left when they were done.My husband got the carne asada taco bowl and devoured the whole thing. That you can choose what toppings you want with it instead of it being a one item fits all.We also decided to get the three dips appetizer (salsa, guacamole and queso). The queso was incredibly good! The guacamole was very fresh but had a little too much lime flavor. I still ate all of it. The salsa was also fresh and served well as a topping rather than a stand alone with chips. I loved that the chips were fresh, crunchy and not too salty. The other side we got was the street corn and this was probably my favorite thing I ate. Creamy, cheesy, a little kick. Absolutely yes.I would highly recommend getting some aqua fresca with your meal as well. Wow! I got the pineapple and would go back just for that.We ended the meal with some churros. They are filled with what I believe to be dulche de leche and I wish I could eat these every day.So glad we decided to stop here for lunch! We ended up spending over $90 (much more than typical for us with a lunch meal) but the food was worth it.Parking: Lots of available spots and easy enough to get to.Kid-friendliness: They don’t have a lot of options but my kids loved the tacos and already want to go back!“
“I go for the fries and get the salad with salmon. Life is good! I must mention Erica, great service at the bar. Fries are hot and crispy, dusted with Parmesan. Salad full of flavor with apple, mango, almonds, blue cheese perfectly cooked salmon. Great overhead music too! Talking heads psycho killer. So fun!“
“Stopped in for their weekend brunch buffet because I had heard it was incredible. Large selection of items to pick from but lacking in flavor and heat ( sausages and scrambled eggs were cold ).Service staff was cheerful and helpfulOverpriced In my opinion“
“We stopped in here for brunch and got the brunch buffet. Lots of options! Breakfast items, make to order omelets, salad bar with big salmon fillets, comfort foods. Something for everyone. It was hard to not over eat! The coffee is amazing! We asked if we could purchase some and they sold us a pound. Our waitress was fantastic. The restaurant seemed busy but Carolyn was attentive to small details regardless. Will definitely be returning here. Thank you for providing great food and outstanding service. Now to go shop the gift shop!“
